Randomness At It’s Best.
DongHae was having a wonderful morning. It was absolutely brilliant, the best morning of his life.
"Life couldn't get better!" DongHae yelled out through his balcony.
He had woken up with the sun shining on his face and birds chirping outside, as if talking to him "Wake up Fishy~ Look at the beautiful clear sky~!" A cool breeze brushed his hair every time he moved, which gave him a fresh feeling. Of course, to make matters even better than they already were, it wasn’t until he’d managed to slip into his clothes and was heading out the door that he remembered - It was Saturday. And the day was free from any activities.
And he wasn't the only soul to understand the truth that he could sleep a little longer. EunHyuk went out of his room scratching the back of his head and sighing. He wanted something to eat, thus he headed to the kitchen. And even though he was looking forward he managed to bump into someone. That someone was DongHae. He blinked few times.
"FISHYYYY!" he hugged him, but quickly released. "Go to sleep. It's Saturday. Go go go~ It's still early, at least you should get some sleep."
When Eunhyuk hugged DongHae he smiled a bit yet it vanished as soon as Anchovy let him go. But still, for Hyukkie to be the very first person to see in the morning - Could it get ANY better?
"Yah! I woke up on my own, so I'm not sleepy anymore, plus look at the beautiful day, how am I supposed to miss it, you're the sleepy one so go rest, Go go go!!" DongHae pushed Hyukkie out of the kitchen.
"But but but I'm hungry!" he cried out. "See, I already opened that cupboard to look for cereal~" Hyukkie tried to get back to the kitchen, but DongHae was blocking the way. "Oh my god, just let me eat already!" he pushed DongHae away and was ready to run for his food, when he heard a loud thump. Somehow, Fishy fell on the floor. Ouch.
"Fuck it. Sorry sorry! Are you okay?" he kneeled down in front of DongHae and looked in his eyes, with a worried look on his face.
DongHae was laying flat on the floor. EunHyuk didn't push him with the intention of him to fall down and normally a person wouldn't fall from something like that, yet DongHae did. How clumsy of him. And EunHyuk's worried face made him feel even more stupid.
" *snort* Fuhuhuhuuhuahahahaha! " DongHae laughed rolling on the floor.
EunHyuk's worried look changed into a confused one, then to something in between hurt and amusement and he smacked DongHae's head.
"Stop lauging! I was really worried, what if you were hurt or something." he breathed out and stood up, leaving DongHae on the floor. "Ah, forget it. You're having fun, aren't you? I'm going to eat, teehee."
DongHae shut up as soon as EunHyuk smacked him. "Owww..." He scratched his head while getting up from the floor.
"Yah! Be nice to your Dongsaeng's! After all they'll choose your nursing home.." Donghae murmured the last part yet Hyukkie got the message anyway and glared at him.
DongHae coughed a little. "It wasn't you I was laughing at, it was at my own clumsiness. Thou I appreciated your worry, thanks." DongHae went over to the fridge to check for anything eatable.
They ate in silence, and even when they finished, they were still swallowed up by it. Only some birds and kitchen noises were heard, like the fridge. And EunHyuk yawned.
"I'm bored. Let's go wake everyone up, saying there's an emergency or whatever. Like, you fell on the floor, had a laughing fit and then you started choking and I took you to the hospital. What do you think?" he smirked like an idiot, raised his eyebrows, and not even waiting for DongHae's opinion started dragging him out of the kitchen.
DongHae was still chewing a cookie when EunHyuk dragged him so didn't really complain, the idea wasn't bad either and they WERE bored anyway. But he still added:
"Yeaw, awnd aftewh thath wet's pway Twuth ouh Dawe"
EunHyuk stopped for a while. Turned his head over his shoulder with a WTF look.
"Who's Twuth and Dawe?" He asked with a tilted eyebrow.
DongHae straightened himself and gulped down the cookie he was munching. "Truth or Dare."
"Oh~ Truth or Dare! I'm in!" EunHyuk started jumping around. "Okay okay. Now, who's first? Shall we wake up LeeTeuk? Or Kang-In? Let's wake up Kang-In, he's being aggressive when you do so. But it's an emergency lol."
He ran through the corridor, excited like a child, who's about to get a new toy, but stopped in his tracks and turned around.
"Hey! You're not coming?" seeing that DongHae had no intent to go with him, he had to get back and drag him again.
DongHae didn't like the thought of waking up Kang-In. Or at least not FIRST for sure.
As they approached Racoon's door DongHae didn't like the idea even more and more.
"Yah! Anchovy aren't I in the 'hospital' ? Shouldn't I go hide in the toilet or something?" DongHae panicked.
"Uh... Yeah... But if you stand here, behind the door it will be like a surprise or something, you know like 'Hey! I'm suddenly back!'" he punched DongHae's hand playfully and reached for the handle, when DongHae stopped him.
"Maybe we should wake someone else up first?" EunHyuk looked into DongHae's eyes and then there was this awkward moment of staring into each other’s eyes when the door opened and Kang-In came out of the room.
"What are you two doing here?" he asked, confused.
DongHae snapped out of the staring contest first and quickly jumped on Kang-In, hugging him with wrapped legs around him.
"Kang-Innie~ Saranghae~!" While acting all cute.
Kang-In was kinda annoyed by that and threw DongHae on the floor. "Yah! WTF? Why were you standing in front of my room?"
DongHae quickly anwsered "I...We missed you Hyung!!"
Hyukkie reached out a hand to help DongHae stand up, then forced out some kind of a smile, then blurted out "Yeah, we totally did, now let's go go go~" and, for the third time that day already, dragged DongHae with him. Only this time to his own room. He opened the door, pushed DongHae inside and closed it when he went in himself. And all he did was just glared at Fishy, who didn't understand what was going on. “Did I do something wrong? ^^’ “ scratching the back of his head, a thing that he usually does when he feels awkward.
"What did you do? Oh nothing. Seriously nothing. Just a little hugging with Hyung. That's like perfectly fine." He crossed his arms on his chest and fumed. Yeah, that was the thing. He didn't even get a hug from him today and he was pouncing Kang-In.
Now DongHae was back on the tracks.
"Hey! If you can't convince them, confuse them. What else could I have done? Tell him that we were staring into each other's eyes right about to *mumble mumble*...?"
EunHyuk walked closer to DongHae and looked slightly down on him. After another short staring contest he tilted his head and silently hummed.
" ’Mumble mumble’ what?" he grinned. He was waiting for DongHae to make the first move, but since he didn't do anything he just said random words that came to his mind. "DongHae... your eyes are like a night sky when the stars are glittering... remember?" he grinned like an idiot again, DongHae smiled too.
As their faces were only inches away DongHae leaned over to EunHyuk, putting his hand on Hyukkie’s neck to make the other one lean in as well. With that EunHyuk closed his eyes waiting for their lips to touch and have a happy day when...it didn't happen.
Eunhyuk opened his eyes to see a grinning Fishy.
"So! Let's go to wake the others up for that Truth or Dare!!! " Donghae shouted all excited. He hadn't played that game ever since he was...13?
EunHyuk sighed. Fishy chose Truth or Dare over him, oh well. He was such a child sometimes, but as much as he wanted to be close to him, he wanted to see him happy, so he nodded hesitantly at that child and giggled.
"Give me a hug at least. Then we can go wake everyone up, make them worry about you and play your favorite game."
DongHae raised an eyebrow. "My favourite game?"
He stood up and jumped on the bed.
"The first moment I saw you, I couldn't help but want you," DongHae sang while Hyukkie looked at him wryly.
"Don't look at me like that, I haven't started the game with you yet." Donghae immitated Han Geng and then went towards EunHyuk to give a quick chaste kiss and withdrew.
"In my eyes, you are the only one in the world, I don't have anything to say~ except for let's go wake everyone up~" EunHyuk laughed and pecked DongHae's cheek. "But if Kang-In already woke up, maybe everyone's up already too." He wondered. “Shall we just go play Truth or Dare?"
DongHae smiled all happy, like a little kid that he is and held EunHyuk's hand for no particular reason.
"Uhuh, let's go."
As they were walking towards the door SungMin popped out of nowhere through it.
"DongHae!! Morning!! Have you already eaten?" SungMin was all shiny and smiley like he is every single day. Today was no exception.
DongHae got all happy again. Not that he wasn't...he's always happy. But anyway he got a happy attack AGAIN.
"SungMin! Yea I already did but why?" Hae asked eagerly.
SungMin pouted. "Nah nothing much just that everyone already did and I don't wanna be alone in the kitchen."
DongHae nodded. "Mhm mhm, kay then I'll keep you company!!," He looked at Hyukkie with a smile. "Anchovy go tell the others about truth or dare while I'm away." And with that said Hae walked away with SungMin.
EunHyuk nodded and they went to different directions. It's just that he didn't know where could everybody be. So first he thought about Yesung, maybe he could find him talking to his turtle like always. So he just went to his room, opened the door without knocking and he was about to say everything about Truth or Dare, when he was startled to death and thought that Yesung's turtle turned into RyeoWook.
Yesung was pinned to the wall by Wookkie's hands and they both looked startled at EunHyuk. He bowed and started apologizing.
"Uh sorry guys, didn't mean to intrude, it's just that DongHae wanted to play Truth or Dare and he asked me to tell everyone and uh.. you can continue." He quickly closed the door and exhaled. He should learn to knock on people's doors.
Inside Yesung's room Wookkie looked at Yeh still startled.
"Did he see?"
"What a stupid question...of course he did." Yesung stood straight.
"But he misunderstood!! What the heck did he think? I know that he thought of something that's not right. I can feel it, I would think that way too-" Ryeowook panicked when Yesung put a hand on Ryeowook's mouth.
"Shh, we'll just have to explain them that your nose was itchy, my shirt's fabric was good enough for you to scratch it, cause your hands didn't do the job well, and since I'm ticklish - you held my hands pinned to the wall. Good thing we didn't do it on the bed..." Yesung explained.
After EunHyuk told everyone he could find about the upcoming game, he went to the kitchen to look for DongHae and SungMin. He found everyone sitting there already, Yesung and RyeoWook were there too of course. Three of them blushed a little when EunHyuk walked in, but no one said a thing.
EunHyuk sat next to DongHae.
"So, only SiWon is missing. I couldn't find him. Maybe he hid himself very well and is listening to his jazz music at the moment." DongHae nodded. "Well, you wanted to play the most, so you can start already?"
Now, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, Yesung, Kang-In, LeeTeuk, SungMin, Kyuhyun, Han Geng, Heechul, ShinDong and DongHae himself were all in a circle around the table. Kibum was happy acting in his whatever movie. Hmph… so anyway - DongHae was already happily downing a bottle of beer, but the rest looked less than comfortable. RyeoWook looked like he was about to cry. DongHae finished his drink and set the bottle down in the middle of the ring, grinning like a lunatic. He eyed the others.
”Who wants to spin first?”
Nobody answered.
”Alright, then I'll do it”, he said, pouting. He spun the bottle with some force, and after a while it landed on Kang-In. He groaned. DongHae chuckled.
”Now, what to do with you... Oh, right. Truth or dare?”
Kang-In thought for a moment. Actually ,longer than a moment. Then you could feel this uncomfortable silence, when everyone was afraid to even flinch, only DongHae was tapping his fingers on the table. Kang-In surely took his time.
"I choose... um... Truth."
DongHae went all happy again to finally hear an answer. "Truth! Oh great…. Truth. And I thought you were a man..." DongHae looked bored and annoyed.
"Ok lemme see...for a manly guy like Kang-In a very manly question...BUT. Remember you can only speak the truth!!" Kang-In gulped as sweat started to form on his face.
"Uhh..umm. Yoooooooooooou actually... secretly eat at night with ShinDong?!"
Everyone sweatdropped. And there we were thinking he'll actually say something manly.
Kang-In's jaw dropped.
"ShinDong is eating at night? I didn't know. And no, I don't eat with him. Well, sometimes I eat alone... But only sometimes!" He looked all flustered, so he took a sip from the bottle and spun it. It landed on Kyuhyun. He looked at the bottle all confused and lost, like it was the first time he played this game. Maybe it was. Or maybe he was just drunk already.
"So, Kyu, what do you choose, Truth or Dare?" Kang-In asked hesitantly.
"Uhhm. Dare?...Man I'm goin to regret this.."
Kang-In flung a couple of bottles of beer at him.
”I'm not in the mood for bright ideas, Kyu, so just down these and we'll be good.”
He finished the drinks he was offered and was quiet for a moment, before giggling loudly and swaying a bit from side to side.
”You know, I should- I should do this more... what's the word? Often!”
SungMin gave him a worried look.
”I don't think he's ever had alcohol before, guys. He can't handle that much.”
But Kyu glared at his friend [A/N: but we all know that’s his lover ] and grabbed another bottle of beer sipping it happily. Kang-In laughed at him.
”Kyu, you need to spin the bottle, you know.”
Kyu nodded, grinned and spun it. It landed on EunHyuk.
Kyu didn't even ask anything when EunHyuk shouted "I choose Dare!" and a drunken Kyu fell into deep thought. His head was pretty much empty, but his eyes caught Eeteuk sitting beside Hyukkie and smiling like he was also drunk so he stated:
"You shall kiss our leader!"
EunHyuk looked at pouting DongHae and smiled sadly, then turned to face Eeteuk and took a deep breath. He was a man, he could do this. Of course he could, just he didn't really want it. I fonly he were drunk too, life would be so much easier… But they slowly started leaning into each other and soon their lips touched for a kiss, which lasted too long according to DongHae.
"Okay okay guys, that's enough, you don't need to make out here!" he shouted and pulled EunHyuk away from Eeteuk. Hyukkie threw a last glance at their leader with a thought ‘You didn’t need to kiss back you horny cow like angel thing… I’ll tell Kang-In after he’s all sobered up! >.< ’ and spun the bottle which stopped pointing at ShinDong.
"Well, Truth or Dare?"
“Dare.” ShinDong stated proudly.
”Ok so.. I'll start off easy, just for you! Let's see... Take your pants off.”
ShinDong blushed - a very manly blush, of course.
”Why?!”
”Oh, now, don't be shy about it! Just the pants, not the underwear. Come on! Don't be a chicken! Plus you sleep naked anyway.”
He looked at him for a moment, wishing he was joking, just like everybody else in the kitchen, then stood up and yanked his pants down. He kicked them off and sat down again, moping. Ryeowook screamed and hid his face in his hands, while SungMin stared at the wall cursing Hyukkie. Kids these days can’t really handle such extreme activities. EunHyuk just smiled.
”Oh, you're all such children! Now, ShinDong, it's your turn to spin.”
So, ShinDong spun the bottle and got SungMin. SungMin chose dare, just like everybody else, and, just like everybody else, he regretted his choice. He had to tickle EunHyuk's feet, the feet that everyone's afraid of.
Hyukkie took his time while taking off his socks and everyone were ready to block their noses, but when he took off his socks everything was actually okay. Nobody fainted nor did anyone jump out the window. But, just in case, SungMin still washed his hands after tickling him. Then he spun the bottle, which came back to DongHae. And DongHae was a man, wasn't he? He chose Dare.
He looked quite uneasy.
”Well, dare then.”
He grinned mischievously.
”Take your shirt off!”
His eyes bugged, and he blushed slightly.
”Uh. Fine.”
He pulled his shirt off. Yesung and Heechul eyed his abs, wishing they had those… EunHyuk was definitely not looking, no way, even thou he was the one that told him to do that, nope, no sir, not one bit. And he sure as hell did not want to just jump the Smiley-Happy-Go-Lucky-Fishy right then and there. Nuh-uh. [ A/N: ok so now that I think about it. WHY did he tell him to do it in that case? XD To show off what belongs to him? XDD Yea..that must be it >:3 ]
DongHae drank some beer and then spun the bottle, it stopped, pointing at EunHyuk. Hae grinned at him.
”Hello there, Hyukkie. Truth or dare?”
”Dare, you bastard.”
"Dare you say. Then drink four beers now." DongHae gave four bottles to EunHyuk and nodded like confirming his words. EunHyuk eyed the bottles and sighed, he had to do it now. So he took the first bottle, soon followed by the second one and so on.
When all four bottles laid empty on the floor, everyone looked at EunHyuk curiously. He looked calm, then suddenly a wide frown painted his face.
"What are you looking at. You want a piece of Anch-" and with that said, his head fell on the table and it was clear that he passed out.
"Uh oh. I think I overdid it." DongHae murmured.
Heechul sighed and shook his head as in No-Good.
"Last time I saw a face like that it was hanging at the Hunter's Lodge..." Han Geng nodded in agreement. "Guess the game's over guys, we may disperse now..." Kang-In looked at Heechul with a WTF face. "Disperse? Guess you had a few drinks more too, the game's really over, Han Geng take Heechul back to your room until he did something stupid." Everybody started cleaning the kitchen or went their own ways. DongHae looked around, seeing that nobody was up for helping him to carry EunHyuk to his room. Oh well. It was always this way. Hae carried Hyukkie on his back to his room.
When they entered the room, DongHae laid EunHyuk on his bed and tried waking him up, in case he wasn't feeling good or wanted something. Hyukkie just rubbed his eyes and started mumbling something like "No mommy, I don't wanna go to school, I want to sleep a little more." Hae smiled, it happens all the time.
"It's not mommy, it's daddy right about to whip your ass." He said and Hyukkie finally opened his eyes kinda scared.
"Oh it's Fishy! In that case, let's have fun!" suddenly energetic Hyukkie stood up on the bed and started jumping while singing some random children song. "Come on, Fishy! Join meeee!"
Eunhyuk jumped on DongHae hugging him, just like Hae did that morning to Kang-In.
"Unff, " DongHae wasn't ready for the sudden impact. "How about you be a good kid and go to sleep early today, hmm?" DongHae patted Hyukkie's head.
EunHyuk struggled in Hae's arms whining "I dun wanna, I dun wanna, I dun wanna~!"
DongHae threw Hyukkie on the bed and covered him in sheets. "Your future depends on your dreams, so go to sleep." Hae patted Anchovy's head once more and went towards the door to turn off the lights and make his exit.
"Wait Hae! " EunHyuk whined. "I already dreamt about... you... and... you know..." he trailed off. Hae stopped and turned around.
"So what do you want now?" he asked as Hyukkie spread out his arms for a hug and giggled. Hae snorted. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Come here you stupid assho-…fish. :DD " Anchovy pouted and sat up, so he could look at the person in front of him with puppy eyes.
How could DongHae resist those eyes…He walked towards EunHyuk with spread hands as well, but didn’t turn on the light before thou. Love is photogenic, It needs darkness to develop.
And so they hugged. In the darkness. Without saying anything. Awkwardness~~~~~
"Ehem," DongHae broke the silence first. "So uhh, can I go now?" Still in a hug.
"No, you can't. Stay with me." Hyukkie nuzzled up to the crook of Hae's neck and inhaled. He liked that scent, which only his Hae had. He smiled against his neck and DongHae shuddered a little.
"You're tickling me. Stop that." though that was said, no one made a move to change anything, not unless EunHyuk made a quick movement so that they were laying down now. His smile grew even bigger against Hae's neck.
"Let's sleep later?" he whispered into Hae's ear.
Thou DongHae didn’t mind the idea at all but he didn’t want to take advantage of EunHyuk, after all, he was drunk.
Fishy got out of Anchovy’s hold and sat up. “Just go to sleep already ‘kay? You’ll have a headache tomorrow.” Hae crossed his arms over his chest waiting for EunHyuk to admit defeat and go over to dreamland already, to visit Micky Mouse or something.
EunHyuk sat up too, took DongHae's hand and pulled him into a hug again.
"So what, you're the one to blame for this. Stay with me." DongHae shook his head, he was sooooo stuck to his opinion.
"Just go to sleep already." he pushed Hyukkie away, laid him on the pillow, covered him with sheets and stood up, when his hand was caught again.
"Stay with me until I fall asleep then? Can you at least do that much?"
DongHae didn’t look at Hyukkie. He knew he’d make a face again to make him do something stupid. He snorted and sat down while holding his hand.
“Fine. just fall asleep quickly please, I do have a life.”
Now it was EunHyuk's turn to snort.
"Liar. You don't have one." He entwined their fingers and shoved their hands under his pillow. "Your hand is cold. I want to hear a tale. Or or sing me a lullaby." He smiled like a child.
DongHae smiled at EunHyuk’s actions. Guess he didn’t have a choice. He cleared his throat.
“The reason why I like you.” EunHyuk smiled at the oh so familiar song.
“A bit more than the begining, a bit more than yesterday,
The reason why today I love you more boy,” Hae now looked at Hyukkie. “The secret of us two.”
EunHyuk was ready to set off to dreamland with Hae’s amazing voice but not yet, he wanted to hear it to the end.
“Warm smile, sexy gaze,
Your random conversation, changing like the weather
I can't predict them yeah~” DongHae was putting even more feeling into it now. “Just like you are, without changing a thing, my loved one, that's you. ” DongHae kissed EunHyuk’s forehead and stood up, gently getting his hand freed from Anchovy’s grasp, when looked at his sleeping beauty for the last time that night and walked out. But to no avail…Hyukkie grabbed his hand again and pulled him back pouting.
“What about my goodnight kiss?”
“Ah Fuck this.” DongHae roughly kissed EunHyuk on the lips, climbing on the bed to the side to sleep beside Hyukkie as well. After a few moments their lips parted because of the lack of oxygen. “Happy now?” Eunhyuk put a finger on his chin as if thinking. “Hmmm, not really~” DongHae let out a little laugh knowing what was missing. “I love you.”
EunHyuk smiled and layed down again. “Love you too.”
