07 - Video/Action for Violet City

[Look! It's a Gardevoir! A serious-looking Gardevoir. You may know it as R -- the Gardevoir which saw Raz like a brother, and battled alongside him. Well, for him. He looks a bit tired -- but he's got to do this. For Raz.
So, right now, he's levitating the 'gear in front of his face. Doze mind readers/people able to understand Pokemon can also hear ( Read more... )

@violet city, pokemon is the new psychics, lack of brain powers, raz srsly you can't do this alone, gotta go home, !ic

[Adric, being awake for a rare hour or two, happens to hear this. It was good to be a psychic.]

Doctor's unhappy too. People got hurt, he doesn't like that. Doctor feels helpless, maybe, without his magic box and screwdriver. Your Razputin missing what he's lost, maybe?

Helplessness... that makes sense, considering the tales Razputin has told me.
This was a horrible time for all, but people such as... Doctor and Razputin must be taking it the hardest.

[Nodnodnod.]

Doctor was going to help, but he got hurt too badly to do anything. Says it's better him than someone else, but he's still unhappy like your Razputin.

...I feel lucky that Razputin managed to avoid much injury to himself -- but at the same time, our trainers sound very alike.

[Heather's Totodile has a tendency to steal her PokeGear and leave it various places. Which is what accounts for Cujo finding it today. And isn't it lucky for R that he is here to give her his expert advice!]

WHEN TRAINER LOOKS SAD THAT MAKES ME SAD AND WHEN I AM SAD I LIKE TO LICK THINGS SO I LICK HER LOTS AND LOTS UNTIL SHE EITHER CHEERS UP OR PUTS ME IN MY BALL

I THINK YOU SHOULD DO THAT IT REALLY HELPS

this is the best reply ever thankyou psychunaut April 14 2011, 07:50:45 UTC
...Licking. [Okay, R had heard many odd ways to make trainers feel better. But he'd never heard any /expert opinion/ like that.]
I think that may only apply for dog-like Pokemon such as yourself. But it may work... that is, if it won't harm Razputin more.
[Seeing as R recently found an abandoned Houndour.]

[There's a brief pause when she calls him a 'dog-like Pokemon' and Cujo stares blankly at the screen for a moment. Almost like he'd just... forgotten that he was a dog. Until she reminded him. ... Then after a second or so his mouth drops open and tongue lolls out in an enormous doggy grin as he positively quivers with excitement.]

I AM A DOG YES THAT IS WHAT I AM!

[... yeeeeaaah, uh, subject at hand completely forgotten, apparently. If you do get the Houndour to lick Razputin, R, hopefully he will be less excitable than Cujo is.]

...And you're a good dog.

Houndour, try licking Razputin.

[Look behind R, it's a Houndour who was just woken up by R! And it just leaps on Raz, starting to lick at him.

And that make Raz laugh a little. R smiles at Cujo.]

Yes, you're a very good dog.

[SUDDENLY, A HAPPY DITTO.]

Hug him! My trainer likes hugs. Sometimes he looks a little sad at first when we hug him but then he smiles and he gets really warm.

[A Ditto? R liked Dittos.]
It is worth a shot...
[See R keeping the 'gear focused as he makes his way over to Raz -- and gives him a hug. BUT THEN.
Raz pushes R away, though. He's sore, man. Recovery from the beating he took out there doesn't happen in a single day, sad to say. :c So! Making his way back to the 'gear, R frowns.]
...It did not help. As I'm sure you noticed from his reaction. But he's never touched me like that before.

That's really weird. What if you try talking to him? My trainer likes talking to us, and he doesn't even know what we're saying, so maybe yours will like it even more!

Talking... hm. I tried it before, but I think I shall try it again. I'll talk with you later, if it is unsuccessful.

[Hang up.

About 15 minutes later.]

...It did not work, the way I expected. He insists that he's fine -- perhaps I shall have to wait for him to admit his issues.

This is almost funny.

[A small chirp was made before the feed showed anything. A Smoochum with a bow in her hair, sitting near a bunch of eggs with Hestia. Egg watching, but she has a distance from the Rapidash since she's half ice.]

Smooo....I think that telling him everything will be okay and you are there for him will make him feel better. Or give them a kiss on the cheek! My trainer likes those when she's sad.

That is one of the things I tried beforehand. Trying to make him know I'd be there for him. But if you insist...
[So. R makes his way over to Raz -- and gives him a tiny kiss.]
R--!! Hey, you know I'm not into that sort of thing!
[And then R gets back to the 'gear.]
...As you might have told, he did not like it. I suppose it is because he can only hear our mind voices when in-person, and had no idea what I was trying to do.

Aw, really? What a shame! I guess not everyone likes kisses...

I'm not sure what else I can say, but I hope he cheers up!

You don't need to say more.

Except, while I have you -- perhaps we could become allies or friends. I've been told I need to 'let down my hair' once in a while, afte all.
Um...
We're both psychic-types, correct?
[R is not good at the small talk. But this Pokemon is gonna be near to one of his kids for a while, gotta make sure they check out.]

[Okay, who let the bird get ahold of the Pokegear again?]

I dunno, my trainer doesn't really get sad when stuff happens. She just gets really mad and it's kind of scary!

Ah-- I've heard of trainers like that. Is it hard on you?

A little. But I'll get her to lighten up eventually!
