My comment to topofthehill's latest post addressed an issue that has been bugging me since I first was hit over the head with the phrase last summer: Student as Consumer.
I'd been toying with writing some essay on my thoughts, but starting a new semester kinda eats the creative mental energy. Instead, some Googleskills found this commentary on the "Student as Consumer" that is written much better than I could do at the moment.
