I Miss California
I was barely used to the temperature being between 15 and 40 degrees. And it's getting colder. And snow. Pretty to look at, but I haven't left the house in the last 3 days...nor do I really want to.
As for school...it's closed. Yep. Snow day. Good thing: no school. Bad thing: If it's closed all this week, I have to take my finals when we go back...like right when we go back. Nothing like a major test after a few weeks of inactivity to get you to fail...
Yesterday, a pipe broke when Mom was trying to change the filter. We lost water from 4 to about 7. It wasn't good. Nope. Especially since one of those boxes in the garage has my books in it...
Anyways. Midwest boredom is truly at a height in winter...at least for me. It's just too damn cold here.
