In general, it's not bad

Well, I still have no money, but I got hold of one of the credit union's managers and he's been very helpful. He actually bothered listening to me and apologizing for the inconvenience and will be contacting me on Monday to fix it once and for all. Apparently my PIN number has gone bad or something so that's what the current issue is. Ah well. I will have money soon.

School is still an overload, but at least I finished a paper that was due last week. No penalty for it being late, but that's the only one I can turn in late this semester. I'm still struggling massively with the stupid government class, which has just become even dumber because th teacher is now locking out the quizzes before I get a chance to take them. I'm going to try to squeeze out a C and have done with it. Screw my GPA. I'm also not looking forward to the biology project. I do not want to kill insects left and right for a grade. That's a flagrant disregard for life. It's better than dissection, I guess.

And work is looking pretty good. I'm still exhausted quite a lot, and the leads have seen fit to put me at Rear Load, a position I don't like terribly much. I have, however, made a game out of sending the boats by giving the all clear as loud as possible. "HI'IT SKIP!" Scares everyone, even the skipper. It wins. I also talked to Randy, who is the trainer god of Jungle, he's been there for 20ish years. He gave me some feedback on my spiel, he gave me some feedback on my weird personality thing where I'm more outgoing in the boat than on the dock, and he gave me some tips for becoming a trainer. Later that night, he and the lead, Kirsten, decided that one of the two trainees who had just passed, as in passed five minutes before, could go into rotation and I would shadow her. They only let good cast members do that, cast members they think have a real shot at trainer. I was very happy with that.

Also, the rediscovery of the song "Electronik Supersonik" has brightened my weekend. My throat may be trying to get sore, but whatever. I'm winning right now. Let's keep it that way.
