I ended up with three A's and four B's for spring. I know, that's actually quite good, especially when taking 21 hours, but I could have done so much better! In a couple of classes, I was lucky to get a B.
I took an intersession class on classroom adaptations and got an A. I've got three classes this summer. Two are directed study (both methods classes. In the other class, we were supposed to have regular classes but ended up downloading the assignments. We only have to go in to take the exams. It's easier this way but I miss the time I would have spent with other students. For some of us, it would have been our fifth or sixth class together.
I am swamped with homework--I shouldn't even be on LJ, since I have an assignment due (and have to redo one from last week in the same class).
I'll be taking either 19 or 22 hours in the fall. Then I'm student teaching in the spring. Since I'm special ed, I have to do 7 weeks in an elementary (K-6) classroom and 8 in a secondary (7-12).
They still haven't filled the education department's special ed vacancy. Apparently the only person they have interviewed was the one in April. I honestly don't expect them to hire anyone for the fall, and maybe even the spring.
