Joyful, joyful, we adore thee

Smokey Harbor was good fun!  It's great to interact with new people and work on my insane plots while more insane people serve as excellent distraction.  It's great to have people rant at you about The Man when you are wearing a suit, tie, and mirrorshades.

"Why don't [the downtrodden] get up?"
"Because their legs are broken."
And  hilariarex and darkwhimsy were wed, and all was wonderful.  I am never sure when one should talk to the bride because if you talk to her too much you are hogging her and not allowing her to mingle in her amazing dress that can stand up by itself.  But I am very happy for them, and everything is right and proper with that, and they had us sing three hymns.  Three!  It was the second Episcopalian wedding I've been to, and different from the first in that the homily was a great deal longer (although funny), and I don't even remember redcrosse 's wedding's homily.  Also the latter had Communion.

And now we have a Special Guest, Sheryl, who it's excellent to catch up with.

Finished Baten Kaitos.  Playing Tales of Vesperia, but it would work better on bigger TV.  Mareep.  Anyway, the Socialist Squirrel is winning the Banking game and doing the happy dance, pachi chii.  It's all very odd and slightly confusing.

Also, in more sober news, randomly contemplating breast cancer and what reconstructive surgery entails.  My grandmother had it in her 70s, so I'm not at huge risk, but it's a possibility that one day I will be rid of the body fat on my front.  I'm not sure if I am confident enough to go without some form of replacement, but I know it's not the same at all.

Kamelot concert tonight!  So exciting!  And Edguy too!  Wheeee!
