Terrarisztikai Börze 2008. Winter - Ancylometes bogotensis (Keyserling, 1877)

Dec 06, 2008 19:02

We've been to the Börze today, and - although it was not a particularly rich Börze - I've managed to sell some assassin bugs, and buy this:

It is an Ancylometes bogotensis, a  South-American Fishing Spider. It lives on land, walks on water and under it. It eats fish, it's fast, and it's beautiful.

I have missed to update about so many things now that I can't remember half of them (you won't hear about what meeting José Padilla was like, nor about my first St. Pölten terraristik fair, nor about how my first tarantula breeding went). I have stored these among other things in the great LiveJournal that is my soul, so if you wanna know more, ask me in person. As soon as I'm over the exam period and the hectic A38 promoting, I'll try and start updating again, I'm promise.
