[A gasp, and some uneven panting that gradually slows. It's a few moments before he can right himself, convince his nerves that his skin is no longer burning off. His last death wasn't anywhere near this traumatic.]
Well... that was... unusually unpleasant.
....
Anyone finds my armor and mask, do return them.
That really is bloody

((Frustrated noises and grumbling))
Fine. Where are they.

How about this. Hand them over, and I won't prove to you how merciful it was for me to finish you off so quickly~

[It's there. Very close to the fire. Almost in it, but not quite. Enough to warm it up a little]

See you.
((After approaching cautiously - this was perfect bait for a trap, if anything was - Erol tugs the armor towards himself with his boot, then tosses them up and catches them in his hands. They're QUITE hot, so after a second he rests them on his knuckles. The skin there can take a burn.
Good thing this stuff is tempered.))

[Remy had considered attacking when Erol showed. After all, waking from death meant he was unarmed and perhaps easier to take, but...well...it would be stupid to go it alone. Besides, if he thought this was a trap, the better. Maybe he wouldn't see it coming if and when Remy actually sprung one.
Remy settles for watching from his doorway, twirling the knife of Erol's he'd taken from the casino.]

Enjoying the scenery, hm?

[He's smirking as he meets Erol's gaze and continues playing with the knife in his hands. He's daring him to attack. Remy won't attack first. He knows Erol would let loose if he did. What he wants is to see if Erol is playing cautious with his warnings.]

((He doesn't have to track the knife directly to know the possibilities of every angle, to see the way Remy's holding his weight. He won't attack. So Erol doesn't care - he's already killed him once. If he really wanted he would take Batou and Motoko's assault as an excuse, but he knew very well that had nothing to do with his history with Glaukir and Remy.))
Nice toy. Where'd I leave that one?
((It didn't HAVE to be his, he wasn't the only one to think of it, but the angle of the sharpened blade made him pretty sure it was.))

Found it in the casino a while back. Didn't know you were so sloppy as to leave them behind. Can see why though. The balance is terrible.

Of course I leave them behind. Weapons worth keeping are few and far between here. These are designed to be thrown away when it suits me.
((He rolled his eyes, amber turned ruddy in the light of the fire, as if to say that would have been painfully obvious if Remy had paused to think about it.))

[Remy knows exactly what he's doing, exactly what words he's choosing. He's not trying to be sly or subtle. He's trying to provoke, to annoy and really? It's a lot of fun.]

For all the good it'll do you. By all means, keep my cast-offs.
((The armor's cooled significantly; Erol hooks the edge with his finger and slings it over his shoulder.))
Especially considering who THAT one was used on.
((He uses this as a parting line and starts to leave.))
