Almost Vacation Time!
Well next week at least!
So for my birthday this year we're going on vacation. Keri hasn't gotten me a birthday present since we've been together mostly because I buy what I want already and because I make most of the money and I think she feels weird buying me a present with my own money.
In any case we've taken the 8th through the 12th for our relaxation time. It'll be a Northwest vacation with a 2 day/night stop in Richmond/Vancouver, BC area on the 8th and the 9th. If I had planned better I would have stayed there over the weekend so I could go to the Summer Night Market but I didn't research it very well and I just booked rooms :p
Then we're driving back down and going to Leavenworth, WA. http://www.leavenworth.org/ I've never gone to this little Bavarian village and I figured I should go at least once. We're going to stay the 10th in town at Hotel Pension Anna which is this quaint little Austrian Bed and Breakfast in the middle of town. http://www.pensionanna.com/ It's really weird looking at the pictures because the places we stayed in Europe really do look like this place. On the 11th Keri's reserved us a 6 mile horseback ride which I'm really looking forward to up there. I haven't gone horseback riding since I was a teenager and I'm so excited!
We'll be coming home that Saturday (not sure if that was the best plan since we'll probably be saddle sore) and then I can spend my Birthday Sunday at home just relaxing and recuperating. :)
I'll have to remember to ask Keri to bring the Camera and take pictures while we're in Leavenworth.
