Writer's Block: A rose by any other name ...

I choose my name PsychoSteph because it's the nickname got in Taekwondo.  The first time I sparred as a white belt my teacher was having everyone fight a black belt.  The black belt wasn't really fighting hard he was really just teaching us how to move around and throw kicks and blocks.  Everyone who got up there was timid and standoffish.  When I got up there I went after the black belt!  So fiercely in fact, that I knocked him over.  He looked at me in shock and all the parents there said I was crazy going after a black belt like that.  Finally after class one of the parents came to me and said "We are start calling you Psycho Steph"  and so the name stuck.  From then on everytime I sparred they called me that.  Here I am now a red belt and now my sparring is even better. At tournaments my classmates will tell me to bring out Psycho Steph when I spar.  So for the lack of any other creative name I used the one I got at Taekwondo.
