My gosh. Today was... today was... I don't know any current English, Japanese, French, Spanish, Chinese, or ANY kind of language to sum up my experiences today in one single word. Except maybe... "WOAH." Hm, nah, that's not powerful enough. So let me just narrate to you, and let you figure out the word for yourself.
I woke up at four thirty today. For the past four days, I have been doing that. And for the past four days, it has all been because of tests. Major tests. That's right, today, I took the ACET, otherwise known as the Ateneo College Entrance Test. We were in Laguna this morning, which is the reason I was up so ... early. So yeah, we drove for an hour to Ateneo. Actually, we were expecting traffic, and I was supposed to get there seven, but we ended up there at six. >.< Think I was first one there? Nuh-uh. Sorry folks. About fifty people were already there-- and that's the number of applicants, not counting the numerous parents and companions milling around. So yeah, me and my own parents stood around outside, waiting, then they made us line up and wait some more. I saw Katha and Can-- never saw April-- and then they made us walk a bit and stand in line some more, walk a bit, still in line. Gosh, they were so friendly-- there were signs all the way. And then the testing itself-- it was funny. We were about the size of a normal class, in Rm 2 of the high school building, and yet it was stone quiet. You could hear the leaves tumbling and crunching about outside. Then when they asked us to put our bags in front, instead of just tossing them onto the platform, they were all arranged neatly against the wall. >.< And there were only about 5 guys in the room. One of them was hot. ^_______^ Hehe. Yeah. It was strange, all of us great minds... you know, it felt nice to be with people who were as smart as you, or maybe smarter, and who were feeling the same way you were. oh well-- I hope I pass.
Then after that, my parents drove back to Laguna (where I am now) but we didn't go straight home-- we went to Ching's. No, not the Ching we know-- it's a dress shop. For my prom dress. *sighs heavily* Well, I have my prom dress now-- or will have it anyway. It's actually quite nice-- yes, I know I was planning to wear the pink blouse-thing and black skirt, but my mom wanted to get me a dress. So, the dress we're having made is dark blue, with a shawl (so I'm fat. Oh well), and there are vertically sewn glass beads down the front, and the skirt is 'bagsak,' whatever that means. I like it anyway.
And only THEN did we go home.
Taking entrance exams, preparing for prom... gosh, how life changes so fast.
