(no subject)
Ha, I'm going on two months without an update. For lack of things to do on the internet, I sure don't pick the obvious ones to entertain myself. Oh well. :)
I'm tired. Like tired because I didn't get enough sleep last night, and just tired in general. Tired of work, tired of stupid people, tired of people that want me to be there for them then don't listen to me when I am, and I'm really tired of my mom being unable to let me go after I haven't lived in the house for very long since I left for college...THREE YEARS AGO! And I don't live that close. I'm 45 minutes away. I'm not driving 45 minutes to get in the pool. I was thinking about going to visit and drop off a couple things I borrowed the last time I was there (carpet cleaner & miter saw) but I just didn't have the energy. I usually want to blow my head off after being there for more than a couple hours. Especially when my parents start arguing. Which is inevitable. I know she's unhappy but it's not my fault, I feel bad, and I'm tired of being sympathetic to the same old shit. They both try to pretend like everything is ok. Just like Joey and Ashley (I work with Joey and he's married to Ashley [and they've only been married a few years]), if you've been married 27 years, it's not much of an accomplishment if you HATE EACH OTHER!! You know what I mean?
But I'm done venting...I hope.
We've finally put the house on the market last week. Now that we're mostly done rennovating, it sucks siting here and waiting for someone else to make a move. We're selling by owner so we don't have to waste money on a realtor for something we can do ourselves. And our realtor friend is helping us for free haha :) I've been all over the free advertising routes so far. No bites yet though.
I want to write more, but I went to a party last night and got up early this morning and I am so tired, so I might take a nap. Or maybe I'll do the dishes and laundry and get the rest of the garbage together so Mike doesn't have to do it when he gets home from work. Cuz I'm nice like that.
