BaCC: Week One | Wynn-Dernberger
Just a warning - this update is longer than the others have been. Lots happened in this house! Let's get to it.
The Wynns were quite boring during their setup play. The most exciting thing to happen was when Quentin came back from a hike with poison ivy. Oh, and Rhiannon's 4 mechanical points in about a day, granting her the title of town mechanic.

The Wynn family has the distinction of owning the largest lot in Nautilus cove, as well as the most elaborate. 18 garden plots, stocked pond, and a 3 bedroom house. Ritzy.
They start out the week skilling it up. Rhiannon particularly enjoys the sewing machine her sister found in the attic.
Rhiannon's first attempt at getting to know Skylar was met with the same reaction Fiona received...
... but she's more persistent than Fiona, and actually manages some headway with our resident grump.
I swear this won't be a repeat of the sex-crazed Finns.
Rhiannon watched Skylar's transformation with all the attentiveness any Knowledge sim could muster, but promptly freaked once Skylar was fully wolfed out.
However, her underlying Romantic made her feelings known.
Having this many plots makes gardening a nearly constant chore.
Rhiannon gets back to work on those mechanical skills.
The paper girl was not pleased to see the previous day's edition rotting on the front walk.
Quentin does not enjoy catching boots.
Fish, on the other hand...
Seldom-seen but oft-gossiped about Odette Azati makes a cameo appearance.

I haven't really cared for Quentin much in the other households, but it's hard to not like those faces. Come on.
Quentin's adorable expressions aren't enough to prevent Regina's inept cooking of a hamburger from setting the kitchen ablaze.
Keep it classy, Quentin.
Tax day... two days late. Pandora won't mind, right?
Rhiannon faces her first challenge as the chief mechanic of the house.
"Damn Quentin. Can't he clean up a mess he makes around here?"

Time flew by and the big day arrived!
"This isn't as much fun as you said it'd be, Quentin!!"
Say hello to baby Blanche! She inherited everything with her dad.

The large spare room on the ground floor turned into Quentin's (and Nautilus Cove's) first owned business.
Regina's a natural at sales...
... but Fiona and I agree she could use more experience behind the register.
Blanche has everyone wrapped around her little fingers.
The bugs on this lot were especially tenacious - no plant was spared from their wrath.
But the harvest is successful anyway.
Rhiannon maxes out her mechanical skill late Sunday night. Hooray!
Quentin's shop of nick-nacks earns its first positive rating and jumps to Rank 1. Only 9 to go?
Blanche's birthday kinda snuck up on me, but isn't she adorable? Looks just like her dad.

The Wynns finish the week much as they started it, only slightly different. But change is inevitable.
