Ha! This truck actually came to my attention when I saw it in a model car catalog. :D Is yours by any chance one of the 1:43 PremiumClassiXXs? Or 1:87 Brekina? I just spent an hour or so just collecting pictures of different original colors. I also came across pictures of deliciously rusted ones. I might throw in some broken down backyard wreck as a bonus, even more so since I just noticed that the way I sectioned the tires I can conveniently flatten them without any change on the texture. :D Yeah, the nose is what caught me, it's an endearing mix of cute and serious. :)
oh, and by the way, since hood deco has about the right amount of (non-)detail for a toy I'm also planning to make them playable! :)
EDIT: Reading your comment again, you didn't actually say that yours is a model. I just assumed that your desk is not that big. :P
