The Sunday Plan (not much of a plan at all)

Dec 02, 2007 16:43

I have no telephone access to the world at the moment. Probably won't for at least another day or two or three. Oh well. Honestly, it can be a little nice. I have internet access, but it's much more indirect. It doesn't make noises or vibrate when someone wants my attention. If I want to know who has attempted contact, I can get up and check it. Or I can watch a movie in peace and quiet.

Therefore, the Sunday plan:

I shall sit in my apartment.

I shall watch episodes from the first season of The X-Files.

I shall wash dishes and launder clothing.

Cooking food of some kind is clearly in order, along with the consumption of some kind of warming beverage. Earl grey tea is going to have to fight it out with Mexican hot cocoa. Both sound pretty amazing right now.

I shall read some Terry Pratchett (Hogfather is my favorite Christmas book, just so you know).

Maybe do some yoga?

Maybe attempt some crafting? There are some shirt experiments I need to look into. Also, the tiny matter of my unfinished raygun. Of course, I am fairly sure that I don't have the part I need for that.

A bath will probably happen, too.

Mmm. It feels like a real Sunday.
