I have reverted to hermitry for a bit. Which I don't think is a bad thing. Between a touch of social anxiety and a good-sized helping of illness, I've probably needed to not go out. Also, my bank account has been frozen for the last couple of days. Which means that I have no access to anything resembling money.

I've been filling my days with going to work and my nights with reading online comics. I am the veritable queen of online comics. I have read at least five of them, in their entirety, in the last couple of weeks.

I started with Goblins, then worked my way through Order of the Stick, Erfworld, Girl Genius, Brat-halla, Caf-Fiends, Weregeek...

And I think that is all of them.

I got so into Girl Genius that it only took me two days to read the ALL of it.

I am also very amused at why the art in Girl Genius looked so familiar to me.

...

This weekend I will probably be quite difficult and/or completely impossible to get in touch with.

I am going the the last SCA event that I will be hitting this season, in Granite Falls. I will be returning to Bellingham on Saturday, but only to attend a wedding. Then I'll be going back to the event. I am going to wear a corset, watch swordfighting, and get so drunk that my face falls off.

Okay. I, too, doubt that my face will fall off. But you have to admit that it sounds funny. If it is really cold out, I will probably become so numb that I wouldn't even notice if it did fall off.

My phone is VERY low on minutes. So if I don't answer it, that is why.

work, hermitry, i hate it when my face falls off, money, sca, girl genius, geekery, i'm living vicariously through comics, online comics
