I'm not actually a psychology student, but that is working to my detriment right now, because if I were I might not have to ask this question. I'm writing a literature essay and want to start off with this quotation attributed to Freud: "Love and work are the cornerstone of humanness." My question is, where does this quotation come from? I would like to cite something more academic than "brainyquotes.com", though in fact I came across this quote through Gmail's "web clips" feed. Does anyone know the original publication or speech that is the source of this quote?
I would also appreciate any tips on where else to look for the answer!
