Cut to the command center of the ship, Weaver and Oliver are there as Weaver speaks to someone we cannot see.
Weaver: They destroyed the device we used to track the teleporter. Not knowing their next move is exactly why S.H.I.E.L.D. needs to end this before it goes any further.
Cut to show us the monitor of the ship, Coulson is up on a video feed there.
Coulson: I agree that losing the tracking device is a big setback.
He sighs as the camera focuses on Weaver and Oliver.
Coulson: Satellite images suggest their compound’s been all but deserted.
We see Mack enter the room just over Oliver’s shoulder, he listens in.
Weaver: Doesn’t mean we can’t strike.
Coulson: Until I know more I won’t be forced into action. We may still have assets in there.
Oliver: Agent Skye? She could expose us. She knows every S.H.I.E.L.D. procedure.
Weaver: You’re gambling with our lives because of one agent.
Mack has walked deeper into the room and is now standing behind Weaver and Oliver.
Weaver: The security of S.H.I.E.L.D. far outweighs the safety of Skye.
Cut to inside Coulson’s office, he seems to be getting aggravated at Weaver.
Coulson: It’s not her safety, it’s her usefulness.
He gets distracted.
Coulson: Mack, I thought you left.
On Coulson’s monitors both Weaver and Oliver turn, surprised to find Mack standing there.
Mack: I did, but with Gonzalez dead I need to see this settled first.
Cut back inside the ship as Weaver focuses on Mack.
Weaver: So, you agree we should attack?
Mack: No. I agree it needs to be settled.
Weaver rolls her eyes disappointed as she turns back to Coulson on the screen.
Coulson: I’m not sure whether I’m happier you haven’t left yet or that you agree with me for once.
Cut back inside Coulson’s office.
Coulson: I understand Skye could be a threat but she’s also our best bet for resolution.
Weaver and Oliver share a doubting look at this.
Coulson: I have her father here. Give me a few hours to gather more information.
Cut inside the ship.
Weaver: Three hours. We’ll continue gathering intel on this side.
Coulson nods and the feed is cut off. Oliver glances at Weaver then back at Mack, then he walks away. Weaver turns to stand in front of Mack.
Mack: Is there a problem?
Weaver: Only time will tell.
Mack: What about the alien thing in the cargo hold? Could be what this is all about.
Weaver: I’ve already doubled the guard. You used to be chief engineer. If you’re sticking around, make yourself useful. This ship needs to be battle ready.
She turns from him and walks away.
Cut to The Playground. Cal is down in one of the holding cells in the vaults. He’s shaking and covered in a blanket as the door opens and Coulson walks down the steps.
Cal: I’m not a Polar Bear, Phil.
He shivers and holds the blankets tighter around himself.
Cal: So why is it colder than bloody blue hell down here, huh?
Coulson gets a confused look as he walks closer to the cell.
Cal: And, uh, what’s with the, uh - doodad on my wrist, huh?
He takes his arm out from the blanket to wave the wrist device around showing it off. After showing it off he tucks his arm back into the blanket.
Coulson: That doodad monitors your vitals.
He picks up a tablet, it shows that the room Cal is in is 70 degrees and all his vitals appear elevated.
Coulson: I can get you another blanket, if you’d like. Or maybe some hot cocoa.
Cal turns his head and glares at Coulson.
Cal: Are you mocking me?
Cal gets off the bed walking toward Coulson.
Cal: Torturing me after I willingly turned myself in?
Coulson: Torture isn’t my thing, Cal. And surrender doesn’t seem like yours. Why did Jiaying send you?
Cal: Do you have children, Phil?
Coulson: I do not.
Cal: Well, then, you’ll never understand what a father will do for his child. Never imagine the pain when S.H.I.E.L.D. stole my daughter.
Coulson: We’ve been over this. It wasn’t S.H.I.E.L.D., it was HYDRA.
Cal groans exasperatedly as he pulls the blanket up over his head wearing it like a cloak.
Coulson: And didn’t you get your vengeance back in the day? My understanding is you single handedly killed a whole lot of people.
Cal has walked away and sits back down on the bed.
Cal: Oh…I suppose that’s true.
Coulson: I’m curious how you did it.
Cal gives a grim smile.
Cal: With style.
Cut to Simmons working in the lab as Coulson walks in.
Coulson: Tell me you’ve figured out what drugs Cal took, because my gut’s saying everything ever made.
He’s walked deep into the lab and stops at the table she’s working at.
Simmons: I haven’t fully sequenced the formula yet, if only for the multitude of trace drugs found.
She picks up a tablet and hands it to Coulson.
Simmons: But my initial list includes anabolic-androgenic steroids, a liver enzyme blocker, various metabolic enhancers, methamphetamines, what appears to be gorilla testosterone and - no lie - a drop of peppermint.
Coulson scoffs.
Simmons: I think it’s an ill-conceived attempt at super strength.
Coulson: Other than Cap, every attempt has been ill-conceived. Will he survive it?
Simmons: A single vial would send any normal man to the hospital. Skye’s father took three.
She glances down at the three empty vials on her table.
Simmons: He should be dead.
Cut to a close up of Bobbi’s eye, it’s starting to tear.
Kara: It’s happening. She feels it.
She turns away from Bobbi with a pleased smile, walks to Ward and puts a hand to his chest rubbing. Ward puts his hands on her shoulders.
Ward: Once she understands your pain -
(Oh man, come on! Do we really need a close up of her hands) But that’s what we get, complete with those needles sticking out from her bloody nails.
Ward: We can all move past this unpleasantness.
Bobbi, lifting one of her hands against the restraints, lets out a deep sigh.
Bobbi: Don’t you see what’s happening? He’s molding you, the way that Bakshi molded you. The circle never ends.
Ward: You left her for dead. I’m helping her heal…from wounds you inflicted.
Kara isn’t paying attention, just making goo-goo eyes at Ward.
Bobbi: Then take her to Hawaii. Do you think it’ll end with me? There’s always someone else to blame.
Kara looks at her.
Kara: You’re wrong.
Bobbi gives her a grim smile.
Bobbi: I bet he started off easy, symbolic target, maybe the doctor who made your mask.
Kara just stares at Ward as he smiles at her.
Bobbi: Ward probably started off easy, too.
Kara: You’re right.
She lovingly strokes his chest.
Kara: It was his dog.
Bobbi lets out a sigh and looks down at her wrists as she strains against her bonds.
Kara: Garrett made him kill his dog.
Kara turns to look at Bobbi.
Kara: I know what you’re doing, Agent Morse, and it’s not going to work.
Kara walks in closer to Bobbi standing across the table from her.
Kara: Grant’s already told me everything.
She leans in closer.
Kara: Everything. About his abusive family -
Bobbi looks at Ward over Kara’s shoulder.
Kara: About John Garrett, about having to kill Victoria Hand. But in the end, he overcame his family and the pain Garrett put him through. He remade himself.
She turns her head back to look at Ward still wearing her gooey eyes.
Kara: It’s why I love him…
Ward gives her a small smile.
Kara: And why no matter what he does I will always stand with Ward.
Bobbi looks sadly up at her.
Cut to Afterlife, Jaying is standing on a bridge at night as someone walks up to her.
Jiaying: Thank you for meeting me, Raina.
Raina: How are you feeling?
Raina comes to a stop before Jiaying.
Jiaying: Stronger. I should have listened to your warning about S.H.I.E.L.D.
Raina: I hadn’t foreseen you getting attacked. I would have told you.
Jiaying: These are dangerous days. I’m grateful for your visions. You’ll be a valuable adviser.
Raina scoffs and crosses her arms.
Raina: Advisor. Growing up, my dream was to lead the Inhumans.
Jiaying: Life is rarely what we dream.
Raina: I’ve learned that more painfully than most. And now I’ve come to accept it. It’s not for me to lead, but to illuminate. I’ve seen the future…and your plan.
Jiaying: Does it succeed?
Raina: There’s only one thing that can save the Inhumans from death and destruction. And it is neither you nor I, it’s Skye.
Jiaying scoffs softly.
The camera pans back so we see the women as Raina looks over Jiaying’s shoulder.
Raina: I’ve considered killing her and you, running from my fate.
The camera comes in closer to the women.
Raina: But then I realized…what my grandmother used to say: that one day I would be an angel. And I realized that her words have come true.
Jiaying’s eyes are hard and uncaring on Raina.
Raina: I am not a monster.
Raina takes her hood down exposing her spikes.
Raina: I am an angel. I’m finally what I’m meant to be.
Jiaying: I’m happy to hear you say that.
Raina: Angels are guardians, Jiaying. But they’re also heralds sent to reveal the truth. And that is my purpose. I’m here to show the Inhumans exactly what you are. Even in the darkness they will see the truth.
Jiaying: No. They won’t.
Jiaying lunges forward and stabs Raina in the throat. Raina grunts with the impact then Jiaying removes the blade from her neck and Raina makes a squeaking noise. She gasps a few times then locks eyes on something over Jiaying’s shoulder. As Raina drops to the ground JIaying turns to see Skye standing behind her. Jiaying exhales sharply having been busted. Skye’s hand opens and the charm Jiaying gave to her falls out of her hand as the two women stare at one another.
Commercial Break.
We come back where we left, Skye is now walking toward Jiaying.
Skye: What did you do? How could you?
Jiaying looks down at Raina and up at Skye, a faux scared look on her face.
Jiaying: She threatened me. You tried to warn me, but I didn’t listen until it was almost too late.
Skye: She knew I would see this. She said as much. She saw who you really are, so you killed her.
Jiaying: Everything I’ve done, everything I will do, is for the protection of our people.
Skye: You killed Gonzalez.
Skye looks sick as she exhales sharply.
Skye: You want a war.
Jiaying: War was inevitable. I struck first so we would have the advantage.
Skye: He came to make peace!
Jiaying: Peace? I built this community in the middle of nowhere so we would be left in peace. Yet S.H.I.E.L.D. found us. No matter where we go or what we do, they will hunt us down. If we are to survive, S.H.I.E.L.D. must be destroyed.
Skye: What are you planning?
Jiaying: I am planning for our future, your future. Daisy, I won’t live forever and when I’m gone you must lead these people. Protect them as I have done.
Skye looks shocked and taken aback.
Skye: Protect them? You killed Raina. You are leading them into a war. If they need protection, it is from you!
Jiaying: I’m sorry you feel that way.
The man that accompanies Gordon appears behind Skye and hits her in the back of the head with a metal object knocking her out.
Jiaying: Restrain her. Take her with you. When this is done hopefully she’ll understand. And dispose of Raina’s body.
The man nods as Jiaying turns and walks away with a sigh.
Coulson: What is her plan?
Cut to Cal in the cell with Coulson questioning him. Cal is no longer wearing the blanket as a robe, now he’s looking a big gray.
Cal: Could - could I get a glass of that water?
He points, Coulson gets up off the chair with the tablet and walks to the table pouring the water into a glass. Coulson kneels to the floor, hits a button on the tablet and a break in the wall appears, it’s just big enough for the glass to fit. Once it’s in the cell Coulson turns the wall back on as Cal hurries to the glass. He lifts the glass up high over his head then dumps all the water onto his face with a sigh. After the glass is empty he spreads his arms wide relieved.
Cal: Ohh.
He gives a big shiver and shakes himself off like a dog then sighs and looks at Coulson with big eyes holding up the glass.
Cal: May I have another one to drink?
He sets the glass down where Coulson had put it, Coulson looks from the glass up to Cal.
Coulson: That depends on your cooperation.
Cal: They just want to live in peace. Is that such a crime?
Coulson: Your wife assassinated a high ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. officer, then staged it to look like we attacked them. Wake up, Cal. She’s trying to start a war and your daughter’s gonna be caught in the middle of it.
Cal has a big smile, when he answers it’s in a sing-song voice.
Cal: I don’t believe you.
He returns to his normal voice.
Cal: Neither of us would ever do anything to hurt our daughter.
Coulson: No. But you’d do anything to protect her. Look at yourself. Whatever was in these -
He holds up the empty vials.
Coulson: It’s killing you. Was getting rid of you part of her peace plan?
Cal continues wearing his smile.
Cal: You got it all wrong, Phil. That little concoction is my own special formula. I took it of my own free will. You see, when my Daisy was stolen I wasn’t strong enough to protect her. So I started experimenting. If I wasn’t born with Inhuman powers then I would make my own. Best laid plans, c’est la vie. I never got it quite right, always missing something. Highly unstable.
He looks at Coulson and shrugs with a small pout.
Cal: Made me a little moody. Could it kill me? Sure. But it was worth the risk.
Coulson: You’re here to take out some S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
Cal: No. I’m here to take out as many as I can.
He starts to laugh.
Cut to a Quinjet landing in a field right next to a Quinjet that’s already on the ground. The runner on the screen says: Aranda De Duero, Spain.
Cut to Hunter entering Bobbi and Kara’s Quinjet, gun up, looking around.
May: At least they didn’t crash.
Hunter: Maybe they both just needed a holiday. Bobbi always like Spain. Probably sitting on a beach telling 33 what a lousy husband I was. I did have my faults.
May has gone into the cockpit to check it out, then she exits and shines her light on the monitor just outside the cockpit.
May: Hunter.
He turns and sees the broken monitor with blood on the edge.
Hunter: That’s my Bob. Never goes down without a fight. What the hell would Ward want with her?
May: No idea. But if anyone can handle him, it’s Bobbi.
Cut to Bobbi, and the obligatory close up of her fingernails with the needle instruments shoved under them (I really, really, hope this is the last time I have to look at this!) She’s straining her arms and wrist against the restraints. She is crying out in pain as she tries to free herself. She drops her arms down instantly as soon as Ward reappears in the room. Ward holds up the thermos in his hand waving it at her.
Ward: It’s gonna be a long night.
Bobbi is shaking slightly, when Ward gets close he stops and studies her.
Ward: I knew you’d be tough. Coulson’s got a good eye for talent. Though he’s a little blind when it comes to spies in his own house.
Bobbi rolls her eyes up at glares at him.
Ward: You know, you and I are a lot alike. Both of us living one life on the outside. But who we really are, we keep that buried deep inside…where no one can ever find it. That’s why Coulson never saw us coming.
He picks up an instrument from the cart.
Ward: That’s why you never saw me coming.
He holds the instrument up by her face, it’s one of the kind that he has under her nails.
Bobbi: Where’s Kara?
Ward: Sleeping. Oh, but don’t worry, I can go all night. I need you to help me help her. Kara needs closure. Admit that you betrayed her and we can end this.
Bobbi gives him a cruel smile.
Bobbi: You’re such a hypocrite. You say I betrayed her? You betrayed your entire team. How many people who trusted you have died? See, I’ve seen the real Grant Ward, the one buried deep inside. He’s a coward who always has an excuse or someone else to blame.
He leans in closer to her, angry.
Ward: You don’t know me.
Bobbi: Sure, I do.
At this moment Bobbi jerks her hands free from the table and grabs Ward by his head shoving it down onto the table. She rips out all the needle instruments from under her nails (Thank, God!) and shoves them into Ward’s neck. She backs up a bit as he stands and she launches herself over the table, feet first, and kicks him in the chest sending him to the floor. She gets to him just as he gets to his feet and they begin to fight. She kicks him out into the hallway where they continue to fight. They do a really good job of both destroying the building as well as beating the crap out of one another. A door at the end of a hallway opens and Kara is there, gun drawn. She watches for a moment then fires on them. Bobbi turns Ward so his back is to Kara as she rushes at Kara with him. She kicks Kara down and elbows Ward then tries to get away but she’s slow from the fight and Ward tackles her to the ground. She gets up, to get hit in the face by Kara, but stays on her feet and engages Ward and Kara at the same time. Ward gets a hold of her hair, punches her in the face and send her down to the ground hard, spitting out blood as she does so. Ward picks up the dropped gun, walks to Kara and stomps down on her leg as we hear a crack and she cries out with pain. She lies on the ground holding her leg trying to breathe.
Ward: Now…is there anything you’d like to say to Kara?
Bobbi looks up at Kara.
Bobbi: Yeah. I’d do it all again.
Ward nods a few times then hand the gun to Kara. Kara immediately takes it out of his hand and points it at Bobbi. Bobbi locks eyes with Kara not backing down from her statement as Kara stares at her. Bobbi shakes her head just a bit and Kara does as well.
Kara: This isn’t right. I’m not feeling it. She doesn’t care if she dies, and…she’s not sorry.
Ward looks from Kara to Bobbi then takes the gun from Kara’s hands.
Ward: It’s okay, baby.
Now Bobbi turns her glaring eyes onto Ward.
Ward: I know what to do.
Cut to Oliver walking through the hallways on the ship speaking on a walkie-talkie.
Oliver: Hey, Mack, everything checking out?
Mack: What can I say? I do good work. I’m headed down to the machine room two to run a systems test.
Oliver: Copy that. Keep me posted.
While he’s signing off with Mack he passes by a hallway, as soon as he’s past it Gordon teleports in with the Redhead and the man that’s always with him.
Redhead: Where are the others?
Gordon: Already in their places.
He starts walking down the hallway with the other two following him.
Coulson: If you hurt anyone here, Daisy will never forgive you.
Cut to Coulson still outside the holding cell where Cal is.
Cal: Stop calling her that!
Coulson: Sorry, I thought that - never mind.
Cal is sweating heavily and off his hinges with anger.
Cal: She’s “Daisy” to me and her mother - not you, not anyone else.
Coulson: Fair enough. But my point is she’s been led to believe that you’re a monster.
Cal: Innuendos! Lies!
Cal: Well, you did wipe out an entire village.
Cal: They were trying to hide her from me!
Coulson: It was Jiaying’s idea to destroy that village, wasn’t it? Just like this was her idea. She told you to take this.
He holds up the empty vials.
Coulson: She didn’t care if it killed you. She’s using you to do her dirty work.
Cal: No! No! More lies!
Coulson: You’ve always done her dirty work. She’s the real monster.
Cal: She’s not like me!
Coulson: No. She’s worse.
Cal: She’s not a monster!
His monitor starts to beep rapidly as he clutches his chest then collapses. The monitor on his wrist and the tablet has a flat line on it then it starts to beep rapidly as Cal stares up with wide eyes.
Cut to two men carrying Cal, they place him on a stretcher as Fitz-Simmons comes in. Fitz rips open his shirt as Simmons hits him with the defibrillator paddles.
Simmons: Clear!
She zaps him and looks at the monitor.
Fitz: No response.
Coulson: We can’t lose him.
Fitz: I thought you said he wanted to kill us.
Coulson: He’s Skye’s father. We have to try.
Simmons: I’m doing what I can. Get me an adrenaline injector, one milligram.
Fitz sets his tablet down and does as told.
Simmons: Fitz, I need it now.
He hands the needle to her and she jabs it into Cal’s neck. Cal gasps and begins to convulse on the bed. He spins himself off the bed and lands on the floor with a hard thud. They all lean a little forward over the bed to look down at him. Cal goes quiet and they give each other a worried look. A hand appears on the bed, Cal’s nails are ragged and his hands are bumpy. He pulls himself up to his full height and the bumps are all over his body, including his now bigger and swollen face, he grins at them.
Cal: You were looking for a monster?
Commercial Break.
We come back where we left, Coulson is giving a nervous look to Cal.
Coulson: Everybody out!
The lab techs behind Coulson and Fitz-Simmons all run out of the lab. Cal grabs the needle off the bed looking at it.
Cal: Hm. This is what I was missing.
He tosses the needle over his shoulder.
Coulson: Cal?
Cal starts to move.
Coulson: Cal, listen to me.
Cal grabs the end of the bed and with a grunt lifts it up hitting the wall. Coulson quickly backs out of the room, Fitz-Simmons are already out, and closes the doors. Cal comes to the glass grinning at him.
Coulson: Cal, I can take you to Daisy, but you need to calm down.
Cal: This is me calm, Phil.
He hits his fists against the glass with a grunt, Coulson takes a step back as he continues to hit the glass.
Coulson: Fitz? I’m open to suggestions.
Fitz holds out a gun to Coulson as Cal continued to bash against the glass.
Fitz: I.C.E.R.s are a good start.
Coulson: Agreed.
He takes the gun from Fitz.
Coulson: Got to admit, I’m not hopeful these will do anything but piss him off.
Simmons: There are more lethal solutions.
Coulson: Not yet. He’s Skye’s father, or at least, he was. I’m hoping there’s still a sliver of the man who -
This whole time Cal has continued to bash against the door, at this very moment, the glass gives way. Cal stands in the lab with a smile.
Coulson: Uh-oh.
Coulson fires on Cal, Fitz and Simmons both have I.C.E.R.s and are firing as well. They unload a lot of shots on Cal then stop firing. Cal stands there swaying for a moment.
Cal: Whoa. There goes the feeling in my legs.
Coulson: Get out of here.
Fitz: No, sir, you -
Coulson: Now, go!
Fitz-Simmons hurries out of the lab.
Coulson: Cal…
Cal: Phil…time for you to go night-night.
Cal walks toward Coulson who steps back for every step Cal makes toward him.
Cal: Time for the big sleep. Time to die.
He shoves against a lab table and it crashes against another lab table while Coulson watches with big worried eyes.
Cal: Time for everyone in S.H.I.E.L.D. to die!
Coulson: This is Jiaying’s plan, not yours.
Cal: So what? I’ve always done whatever she asks. It makes me happy. It’s why she loves me.
Cal turns away from Coulson, Coulson sees what he’s going for - a very big oxygen tank, and he high tales it out of the lab. Cal picks up the tank and walks to a window throwing the tank out of it just a Coulson passes the window.
Cut to Mack on the ship, his head is down as he’s working on something. He hears voices, voices we know, and his head comes up listening.
Lincoln: Careful with her, she’s unconscious, not dead.
Gordon: Just lock her up, we have to move fast.
Mack goes to the door and opens it a crack peeking outside. A long line of Inhumans are walking in the hallway, among them we see the back of Redhead and at the end a large man carrying a woman across his shoulders. The camera zoom in on the woman’s arms, she’s wearing gloves - Skye. Mack exits the room and quietly follows after them.
Cut to a Quinjet flying in the air.
Cut inside the Quinjet to find Hunter looking at a tablet.
Hunter: A day ago I never wanted to talk to her ever again. Now she’s all I can think about.
May: Love’s weird that way.
The camera zooms out to show us both of them in the cockpit, May of course flying, the group of S.H.I.E.L.D. soldiers strapped into the seats in the back.
Hunter: I’m not sure it’s love - more like a dance of desire, discomfort and unreliable feelings.
There is a beep from his tablet and he looks down, the screen says: SIM card located.
Hunter: Hold on. Bobbi’s phone’s back in service.
May looks from the tablet to Hunter worried.
Hunter: Shouldn’t be too hard to trace this to a location.
May: Could be a trap.
Hunter: Been there, done that. Most of my marriage to Bobbi felt like a trap. But...we did have our good times. So, you up for this?
May: If it means finding Ward and putting a bullet in his head…I’m all in.
Hunter: Guess love is weird that way.
Hunter takes out his cellphone and dials Bobbi.
Cut to Bobbi and Kara, Kara is tying Bobbi up to a chair as Bobbi is gagged. Bobbi’s cellphone vibrates drawing the attention of both the women. Kara smirks and Bobbi looks at it worried. Ward picks up the phone and looks at the display.
Ward: That was fast. Someone must really miss their honey bunny.
He sets the phone back down.
Ward: You think he’ll come for you, hmm?
He walks off camera.
Ward: Since you’ve shown no remorse for your sins against Kara -
The camera pans to show us Ward is standing behind Bobbi, there is a rifle set up on a tripod just over her shoulder pointed at the door in front of Bobbi.
Ward: Since you clearly have no regard for your own life…we’re leaving you a little present.
He aims the rifle and loads it the walks toward the door.
Ward: The first person through this door…
He mimics an explosion with his hands around his head, complete with sound effect.
Ward: Brains everywhere.
Kara smiles at him, pleased, then gets off the floor and joins him. Ward closes the door and puts a device on the edge of it then opens it wide so they can leave.
Kara: I wonder what you’ll feel when you watch somebody else die because of what you did.
Ward: I know what we’ll feel.
Kara gives Bobbi one last smirk then exits, Ward has his own smirk at Bobbi then he hits a button on the device on the door turning it on. He looks at Bobbi one last time.
Ward: Closure.
He closes the door behind him and Bobbi immediately starts to struggle against her restraints.
Cut to the ship at sea.
Cut inside the ship, we’re outside the red door where two guards stand.
Cut inside the room, a soldier stands in front of the stone incased in a box, and as we watch it liquefies and sloshes around inside the box a few times before reforming into a stone. The camera pans around the box showing us many soldiers inside the room all facing different directions watching. The man in front of the box is caught by surprise when Gordon teleports himself right in front of him. Gordon grabs the soldier’s gun, knocks him in the face with it and teleports away.
The guards inside the room go on alert when they hear gunfire and face towards the door the sound is coming from behind taking positions. The red door opens and the guards from inside the room come out looking around at the downed guards who were stationed there.
Guard: We’re clear.
Inside the room, next to the box, Gordon teleports in again, this time with two men carrying guns.
Gordon: Weapons down or everybody dies.
The guards in the room all look back at him.
Cut to Mack in the hallways, he has found himself an axe which he carries. At the end of the hallway he is in the Redhead appears.
Mack: What did you do with Skye?
Redhead: Follow me and I’ll show you.
She’s walking down the hallway toward Mack. She closes her eyes and when they open they are white and cloudy. She shrugs her shoulder and a copy of herself appears in the hallway behind her. She shrugs again and another copy appears. Then she does it for a third time, once the third one is made she looks back at them all. Each of the copies has stopped in a doorway, 1st Redhead nods to the other three, they all go into their doorways as #1 turns to Mack pulling out a gun. Mack groans and rolls his eyes.
Mack: I can’t wait to get off this boat.
#1 Redhead cocks her gun, Mack has just enough time to duck, hit the alarm and move out of the way of the shot.
Cut to another hallway, Lincoln appears at an intersection and sees a SHIELD person. He uses his powers on him lifting him in the air then dropping him hard to the ground. Lincoln goes to a control panel on the wall and hits it with his powers shorting it out, along with the alarm and the rest of the power. One of the Redheads appears before him.
Redhead: Hangar deck’s ours. I’m headed down to secure the armory. I’m also upstairs in the conference room.
Cut to the conference room, one of the Redheads is kicking a person inside the room. Redhead is doing a good job of beating up the soldier but he goes to run out the door only to be stopped by another Redhead. She punches him a few times knocking him out then looks at her counterpart. They nod to each other and go in different directions.
Cut to Oliver on the bridge.
Oliver: Comms are down. Engines are down. They’ve shorted out most of the electrical on the ship.
He walks to stand beside Weaver.
Oliver: They’ve taken both reactor compartments, the crew quarters, as well as the hangar deck.
Weaver: Good God.
She leans toward a worker on a computer.
Weaver: Get me a secure channel to Coulson at HQ. We need to warn him.
Worker: Copy that.
Weaver turns and looks at Oliver.
Weaver: Do we have anybody left still fighting below?
Cut to Mack, it appears he’s in the armory gearing up. He’s put on a vest and grabs ammo and his axe. He takes a deep sigh preparing himself.
Cut to Weaver on a monitor screen.
Weaver: Director Coulson, we are under attack from an unknown number of gifted assailants. They have killed dozens of my men. We need your help. I’m sending our -
There is a grunt from off screen and Cal appears, wielding a chair, which he uses to smash the monitor, he’s in the lunchroom/meeting area. Fitz is in a doorway and sees Cal, Fitz’s eyes go bit and worried.
Fitz: Jemma, run! Run!
Simmons appears in the doorway and Cal gets more excited running toward them.
Cal: Yes! Let’s all run!
The go down the hallway with Cal giving chase. A door opens and they both run through looking over their shoulders, after a second Cal enters as well. Fitz-Simmons stop in the center of the room, after a brief hesitation at the doorway Cal lunges inside the room going for them. We hear tires squeal, Cal looks over to see one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. SUVs barreling towards him. The SUV hits him and pins him to the wall by his legs. Cut inside the SUV to see Coulson behind the wheel. Cal stands up, as much as he can, and tries to shove the SUV off of him but it is not moving. Coulson gets out of the SUV and walks closer to Cal.
Coulson: Now it’s just you and me.
Cal grunts still trying to move the SUV.
Coulson: And we’re gonna talk.
Cut to the ship, Redhead is inside the command room holding the S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel hostage. A man walks through the room looking at the hostages, which include Weaver and Oliver on their knees with their hands on their heads, then he continues on. Redhead watching the hostages looks over her shoulder to see a second Redhead standing on the walkway above with Gordon, the two women smile at each other and nod. Redhead turns and addresses someone behind her.
Redhead: All clear.
Jiaying appears in the doorway behind her and walks to the railing, Lincoln is behind Jiaying. Jiaying looks down at the prisoners with a smile.
Gordon: The ship’s been taken. Most of the crew have been secured on a lower deck. Anyone unaccounted for will be found on our next sweep.
Jiaying turns away from the railing and over to a big box set up there. Lincoln watches what she does when she nods to a man next to the case and he opens it showing many Terrigen crystals inside the case. Jiaying picks one up looking down at it as Lincoln looks sideways at her.
Lincoln: Now what?
Jiaying: Now…
She holds the crystal up high looking at it.
Jiaying: We begin.
