Random fact #1: I have a hotdog pillow (that long cylindrical pillow) up until now.

Of course it's been changed over the years. Otherwise, all the dust mites from my 22 years of existence would have taken over my lungs.

During the coldest of nights, my hotdog pillow warmed me. (walang bastos)

Random fact #2: I liked Camille Prats so much when I was a kid that when I met someone named Sarah (Camille's most famous role), I befriended her. I used to go to her house and visit.

Random fact #3: I am terrified of askals.

Everytime I see a stray dog, I feel like I'm going to get bitten. If dogs were wiser they would notice that I actually go out of my way to avoid them.

Random fact #4: I got lost in SM North Edsa when I was about 5-6 years old.

I went to the cashier and told them that I lost my parents. I was bawling. You know how parents scare their kids with: "sige ka, iwan ka namin diyan." Well, my parents didn't intend to. I wandered off and then voila, I couldn't find my parents anymore. They immediately announced where I was and the reunion was heartwrenching. not.

Random fact #5: I was a bad kid.

I remember my yaya hitting me with a plate because I was such a bastard. I was ill-tempered as a kid. Whenever I don't get something as promised, like a vacation or a toy, I'd always chant: "Pangako ng pangako, lagi naman napapako!" And I was about 7 when I learned this.

During our trip to Baguio, I got so mad at my parents that I started screaming at the back of the then famous Tamaraw FX. I threw quite a fit and my parents had to restrain me. I was hitting the car window and kicking the seats. I don't remember why I was so mad at the time.

I used to fabricate illnesses so I could skip classes. I'd tell my yaya, "I'm sick. I can't go to school." And then they'll instantly believe me. This was before grade three when my achievement motivation started to kick in.

Random fact #6: I was supposed to be enrolled in Economics not Psychology.

Psychology has been my only option for college. During Confirmation, I found out that I was too late. All slots were taken already. I discussed course options with an OAA counsellor and seeing that my second choice (ECE, I know, what was I thinking?) was too unrelated to Psych, she helped me decide to choose an alternate course: Economics.

I was resolved to the idea of taking up Economics so I started telling everyone about it. I did well in Economics back in High School so my teacher and I were sort of chummies. I told him that I was inspired to take up Economics as well.

The OAA called the house when I wasn't home so they talked to my mom. They informed my mom that a slot has opened up for Psych. They asked if I was still interested. My mom, without consulting me, said: "Ay opo, interested pa po siya."

And the rest is history.

Random fact #7: There was a year in my life that I did not eat bananas.

I think this was after I ate banana flavored bubble gum. I swear. The thought of the artificial banana taste makes me cringe until now. Yikes, I can even taste it as I am typing this.

Random fact #8: My two favorite hosts are Oprah Winfrey and Kris Aquino

Walang pakialaman.

Random fact #9: I'd rather wear eyeglasses over contact lenses.

I hide behind my eyeglasses, they make me look smart. And I am afraid of using contact lenses because I am scared to lose my sense of sight. Those kids who turn over their eyelids to scare other kids? Oh gosh, I find it appalling.

Random fact #10: I have an obsessive personality when it comes to songs I like.

Whenever I like a song, I listen to it over and over and over and over again. I don't get tired listening to it. Recently I got obsessed with Lifehouse's Everything, I kept it playing from the time I was in Malaysia until I got back to the Philippines.
