Dear President-elect Barrack Obama,

first I would like to congratulate you on your victory at the polls, but i feel also the need to warn you. everything that you told people during your campaign trail will now come back to you as it has every previous president. Change, a simple word with serious implications, it won the election for you but what changes will you bring? will you really take money away from my 30k salary to give to those who do not wish to work? or will you do as you proposed and ban all firearms? You see, now that you will be installed like another fixture at the White House, your figurehead position will place you in a troubled seat with many accomplishments to be tackled. Not everyone will agree with you but you will try to please those who you can, but please remember the young, impoverished, and minority voters who chose you to be the next whipping boy for congress to blame for failures are not the most rational nor the most educated people. Basic rights and needs such as gun ownership are essential to the american way, a government with too much control over its citizens creates an unstable union (i.e 1776).Please do the best you can with what you have received and remember that the general public is stupid
