Happy Birthday Steven
This past Saturday, November 13th, 2010 was Steven's 26th birthday!
Happy Birthday to him.
We had an amazing weekend.
Dwayne went in on a cake with me and we got the eagle from the roman banner put on a carvel icecream cake and Steven loved it!
I got candles, an X and used three other candles to make XIII for his legion, which worked perfectly because Dwayne is Steven's legion commander.
I didn't have a lot of money due to the fact that I don't have a job yet, but I was able to get Steven some snacks, a spanish/english dictionary, and some spanish word flash cards.
I also decorated the entire house with wrapping paper(pictures are up on facebook)
Jesse and Pamela came over and we had fun all night playing darts and smoking the hookah.
Pamela and I had a really awesome female bonding thing going on and yesterday I went over to her house to watch the stealers play, who lost but watching was fun.
I got an invitation to join her and Jesse for thanksgiving at their friends house which should be really fun-the invitation is pending though because they have to ask their friends first.
Pamela also helped write me a letter of recommendation and talked to me at great length about caring for kids with special needs, specifically kids with autism and who need to learn non verbal communication skills. It sounds really awesome, rewarding, and something that I would enjoy doing. If I found a job in this field I wouldn't need to go to interior design school.
Overall it was a great weekend.
Which was nice for a change.
