Fraud

This past week was... interesting. Monday was a "normal" day at work and what not. Tuesday was my sick day from hell. Wednesday I found out I had overdrawn my checking account AGAIN... but wait... I didn't authorize that $100 Automatic Debit for Capital One......................................... CRAP! The end result of talking to Capital One, Wachovia, and my mom about 10 times each is that I have a total of $577 worth of auto-debits to Capital One that were not authorized by me and did not get credited to MY Capital One account. In addition to that, I have a total of $350 worth of Overdraft fees DIRECTLY caused by these auto-debits - which turns out to be all but ONE of the overdraft fees I've been assessed since this whole thing started back in May!!!!!!!!! I disputed all the charges I could with Wachovia - unfortunetly not all of them since they only allow you to dispute charges on your current statement and the two previous ones. >_< And I'm sending in all that I need to to Capital One to get them to reimburse all the charges AND Overdraft fees. I've already been refunded the five charges that I was able to dispute with Wachovia - however, not the overdraft fees... strange if you ask me considering THEY are the ones that have assessed the fees... I hope to get this all taken care of today and mail off everything to Capital One. Once they recieve all the stuff, I was told I should expect my refund in two weeks. We shall see about that! Unfortunetly, because of all of this, I am finding it necessary to close my bank account and open a new one... which is a LARGE hasstle since I have automatic payments set up for several places and direct deposit as well *le sigh*
