I'm going to try something. I'm hoping maybe this will help me to get back on lj a little more often-if not to post, at least to comment. I'm going to delete several of the people on my FL. A lot of them no longer comment or comment so rarely, or I comment so rarely on theirs, I don't feel that we really have that much in common, other than ( Read more... )

I got cut.

That's okay, I'm not offended or anything, I'm just sorry to lose you and that I wasn't considered interesting enough to be kept. I really have appreciated your thoughts and advice. Best wishes to you and your family.

Ooooh, no, no, no. Now I feel terrible. I don't think you're not interesting enough, at all. Actually, the reason that I cut anybody is that they didn't comment on my journal. I thought I wasn't interesting enough, so I assumed nobody read my journal. I just left the ones that I thought were reading it. I'm sorry. =( I didn't realize so many people really were reading it. You're back on, ok? My bad. Forgive me?

I made the cut! Thank you! New York will seem really cold coming from a hot climate. When I lived in south Texas and came home for the summer I needed a jacket when everyone else was in short sleeves. I'm happy to hear about your volunteer job. Sounds like something right up your alley. Good luck with your mom as well.

Looking forward to seeing Leah and the baby huh? I haven't had the pleasure of being a grandfather yet, and since Cassie is only 16 I hope it will be awhile!

Yeah, it's funny. When I lived in Montana, a group from my church came down to Phoenix First Assembly for a conference. It was in January. It was around zero when we left. When we got here, the lows were in the 30's (whatever happened to those days? Stupid urban heat island). My dad thought I was nuts, cuz everybody was wearing heavy coats and freezing, and I was wearing a tank top, and a lightweight short sleeve top over it. He kept saying, "Are you sure you don't need something warmer?" It was like a beautiful, late spring day, to me.

Um, yeah, I don't think you wanna be grandpa just yet, hehe.

You know, that's wonderful to hear about the volunteer work. I wonder if they have a program like that in my area.

A lot of people have had problems with UPS and some companies don't use them anymore because of that. Good luck with that package!

Really?! Wow, thanks for telling me that. That sucks. I still haven't got it or heard from them yet. Sigh.

Oh my gosh! I would LOVE to go to New York. Maybe once I'm graduated and working. You got a smoking deal on that parka! Wow! Teach me how to shop like you!

LOL! =) The only reason I get to go is cuz Leah and Andrew got me the ticket. That's the only reason I got to go to London, too, cuz they were living there at the time (they moved because of his job). You can't go too far on $728 disability, after all my bills are paid, lol.

I went to http://classiccloseouts.com. for the parka. I can't even remember how I found out about it.

Aww I feel sorry for the people that got cut from your LJ, Cause I know I NEVER EVER comment on my friends journals (though i read them and frequent their entries at least a few times a week), and I VERY rarely write in mine, so I'm sure if i wasn't your daughter i would have gotten cut! So i bet there are people that read your journal all the time but don't comment, and don't write in their own, that you cut, For that reason I could never cut anyone, even people I am pretty sure haven't logged onto LJ in years...haha.

I can't wait for you to come to NY!! I keep trying to think of things we will do, I know for sure farmers market is one of them.

I love you momma!

I know, Boogie, I feel HORRIBLE!!. Like I told blue_orchid82, I just assumed that since very few people commented, my journal was boring and nobody else was reading it. A lot of the people though, I know have left lj. They haven't even updated their journal in years. I'm going to leave them off, but the ones I know are still here, I'll put back.

That's the pier at OB. If you look close, there's two little dots at the end. That's Chelsea and Kathryn.

Hehe, me too! I was thinking that you're gonna be so big, you won't be able to do a lot. But I remember when your dad did that thing with the wild dogs in Oregon, I was huge, but I ran up a nearly vertical riverbank, stomach and all-carrying a year old baby! It's nice to be young. Anyway, what's Farmer's Market like? Is that like an open air market like Camden Town?
