Of late, i have been realising a lot of things. Yesterday (Sunday), i realised that i can have fun and enjoyment on my own. All alone. I wanted to get something off my mind and i got this impulse to go to the Golconda Forts. Actually the thought had been lingering in my mind since a long time. So i acted on the impulse. Called up a few friends. Some couldnt make it, some acted and some didnt want to. Nothing new to me. But i had to go. It was me and my victor. Lotsa thoughts about lotsa things passed (away...hehehe) through my mind as i zipped away on my Victor. But i kicked them soon as i reached the Fort. I enjoyed my entire lazy climb to the peak of the fort taking pix at various points. All my pics were taken by on my Nokia 6600. I have uploaded some of them
here. Check 'em out. Muh relished the climb totally. Spend some quality time at the peak in solitude and then descended out. It was this time that i realised the height of engineering genius and intelligence that must have been put into building this fort.
As i moved towards my bike, i remembered the dark loomy place i had been to inside the bark of a tree when i was a kid. I felt impulsive again and acted on it. Obviously i had to trace its location by asking around the old people for the directions to "Hathyaan ka Jaad". Reached there but to my dismay, i could no longer climb and get inside since there was a spiked iron boundary around it. I could always try but decided against trying, then accidently slipping and losing my virginity (anal) to an iron rod.
From there i moved on to fulfilling my childhood desire of visiting the holy places of the military in the cantonment area. I visited the Temple, then the Church and finally the Gurudwara. It was a very very holy experience. I could not locate the Mosque.
The Taramati Baradari built around the Taramati monument is really worth visiting. Its got a bar too guys. Hehehe..i even checked out the rooms in there. Good and very reasonably priced. 1100bucks for an AC suite doesnt hurt too much, right? The prices in the menu too did not hurt the eye. For eg. 20 bucks a soup.
Then i head home with a mind full of memories and a Nokia 6600 full of pics of my first dayout. I had a good time all by myself and i will never hesitate to go alone incase the people that i ask are not interested and turn me down. Have had enough of it. I stand alone. On my own!
