Hey all, i was jus looking up for the name of a phobia of a friend of mine and found hundreds others some of which were very strange and funny.. Check em out!

genophobia - fear of sex

Cypridophobia or Cypriphobia or Cyprianophobia or Cyprinophobia - Fear of prostitutes

Defecaloesiophobia - Fear of painful bowels movements.

Dishabiliophobia - Fear

Small correction. Xeno-phobia is rarely used as a fear of castrated people (unless you happen to be a Greek, in which case you would likely use this term over 'trans-phobia'.). A more accurate rendering of xenophobia, used by the rest of the world lies ahead. (mind you notice that xenophobia differs from xeno-phobia!) :o)

xenophobia = Fear or hatred of strangers, people from other countries, or of anything that is strange or foreign.
amychophobia = fear of being scratched.
anemophobia = An abnormal fear of the wind or drafts.
Hellenologophobia = Fear of Greek terms or complex scientific terminology.
Kosmikophobia = Fear of cosmic phenomenon.
Mnemophobia = Fear of memories.
Nucleomituphobia = Fear of nuclear weapons.

Wierd! I have no fear of flowers, though I do get disgusted by Roses in particular. No fear as such. Just disgust....

As to your fear, check this out!

A reason it [the anthophobia cure!] may not work is that frankly some people are afraid to give up their anthophobia. Their identity is wrapped up in it. They have had their anthophobia so long that they don't know who they would be without it.
