Just got back from a looong train journey (damn Sunday night services).. As most of you know, Hocico couldnt get into the UK. I'm pretty gutted, but for some reason I kinda expected something to go wrong. It never did seem right somehow.. kinda too good to be true! Always had this gut feeling it'd be cancelled

I have a funny feeling that was a big fat lie to make us not get a refund and go in for the other bands.. time will tell I suppose!

If the do come back, I hope they play there. It was a really nice venue! If its at Slimelight I'll cry! But still, I'm never getting my hopes up until they're actually stood on stage in front of me!

The members of hocico had every right to work under their permits in any part of the EU. This decision by UK immigration is frankly ridiculous.

We dont have decent border control. We have a bunch of paranoid lunatics making arbitrary decisions to throw out anyone not blonde haired and blue eyed in case they turn out to be suicide bombers.

At the time it seemed hard to believe that two Mexicans with a tour bus, equipment, their faces all over accompanying merchandise, etc would be denied entry unless some tool had messed up the paperwork.. but alas, yes, it seems the UK is just rubbish doesn’t it! I'll take that statement back ;-)
