Thank you sweetie. There are lots and lots of things I don't do well, but I have lots of teh fun anyways. It's nice though, feeling like my art is finally coming together where I can create a reasonable facsimile of whatever crazy-ass idea is in my head, and it's been fun "illustrating" my designs so to speak.
The real trek had been freehanding these designs. The one you like was all, "let's sit fown and start painting and see what gives." I had drawn something on my hand and decided that I liked it, and tried to recreate it. I certainly traced in the middle section of the last one, after I blew up a drawing I had done, but then I let go and let myself play. They aren't perfectly symetrical, but I think that's part of their charm. That's what I tell myself anyways. ;-)
I wish I had more time for fandom, but between the painting, and now web design, (god help us all) I'm devoting less and less time to it. Why don't you come do my paperwork for me? Please? *gives you cute puppy eyes*

Take it from an art historian - art is the most charming when it's diverse and unconventional and a result of the last perfect frame of your vision and vivid imagination.
I've been writing waaay too many essays man.
Well, that's the great thing about Cordy/Dean - you dont have to do much, just watch the music videos, read the fics, relax and enjoy yourself! ;o)
I'd love to help you out if I actually had the time to ;o) I have essays and dissertations galore...
Thank you! It has the warmth of old leather, which I really ended up liking, especially when I figured out exactly what I wanted to do with it. I'm working on one with similar colors, but had to put it on hold due to house flooding and the sudden major house repairs we got saddled with (but that's sort of fun in it's own right). It's just that my studio now holds half of my house furniture. I've been having a blast rediscovering painting after all these years.
