YVR to NYC
(i suppose you could say i've been rather busy)
some quick notes:
- i'm able to travel without a subway map now but the signs inside the subway are confusing.
- i hang around midtown a lot. :-T
- the doorman and i are on a first name basis.
- i'm still adjusting
- NYC chinatown hasn't changed one single bit. this upsets me.
- aside from chinatown, i can't find any asians. wth?
- someone told me there is a greater amount of attractive asian women in vancouver. i can vouch for this. yes.
- asian men must be extinct cos ive never seen asian woman + asian man. ive only seen pairs of asian women + white guys
- our nyc office is uhh... sterile.
- in comparing YVR w/NYC: NYC food is cheaper, cell bill is cheaper, alcohol is cheaper, transportation is expensive, rent is NUTS!!!
- i'll be meeting a fellow LJ'er in a few days. :)
- my american friends are heinously making fun of my canadian accent
- the amount of grease + fat on an entre is 3x that of what i'd normally find from vancouver restaurants
