a few minutes to spare
lately i've barely had time for anything it seems. i still don't have the internet so hopefully in the next day or so i'll get it up and running.
i'm pretty much settled in as far as i can be in my apartment. i moved a few weeks ago from my parent's house to an apartment in los angeles proper. my neighborhood is little armenia which is cool because we all know how down i am with the armenian community. i like the neighborhood because there are a lot of little markets and a few good places to eat that aren't too far away. i'm also not to far from bars and other places that i like to go to so it's nice. i'm close enough to ride my bike and/or skateboard to places which i like since i hate driving. i took the bus last week for the first time in well over 15 years. i'm a pro when it comes to buses and public transport in san francisco and pretty much everywhere else i've been including europe. in los angeles, i never use public transportation because for the most part, it's not convenient for me especially for going to work. now that i've relocated, using public transportation is going to be a bit easier for me to utilize which is something i like because i'd rather use public transportation than drive in this hell hole of a city.
the one weird thing about my hood, if you can agree with me that it is weird, is that i'm surrounded by various Scientologist buildings/centers/living quarters. it's fucking WEIRD ASS SHIT..one of their main headquarters is a few blocks down. no matter what time it is, morning, noon, 3am, there is always a security guard riding around on a bike and a few people coming and going in and out of the buildings. what's weird is that they're all in their "uniforms" which consist of blue/navy pants and tops..it's bizarre and cultish and just weird. right around the corner from my building is some building where a bunch of them live so you'll see a group of them all walking home, in the same outfits, from the main building at weird hours of the day. crazy shit.
i've just been working which is the same ole stuff. i did get a notice the other day asking if i was going to return to the job next school year. i wasn't expecting that this soon and i had planned on looking for jobs and seeing what my options were next month. now i feel rushed to make a decision since they want my answer by the 29th. i dunno what to do. *sigh*.
today is the 21st which means that in exactly one month (probably less since feb is short) me, patricia, and junue will be off to jamaica. i can't wait for this trip to just come already. it felt like it took forever to plan. it should be good times.

anywho..other than all that i haven't been doing much else. i went to see groundation a couple weeks ago which was nice. i've gone out to eat new delicious food i've never tried before which i love. and lastly, i've been hanging out with jimi who i am completely smitten with. there, i said it. ha! it's good stuff and i always find myself laughing and having a good time which i'm totally into. plus, he's obsessed with skateboarding which i love love love.
