For anyone not in the know
Changes, changes, and more changes.
I got layoff-promoted. Yes, you read that correctly. I was laid off, then immediately rehired as a supervisor. Oh, what a tangled web we weave. It seemed so out of place before it all happened, but it retrospect everything looked so well orchestrated, all so that they could keep me.
I also had jury duty for the first time. It's an interesting process, and if I wasn't in the middle of a big job change (er, yeah, I forgot to mention that they have no one to replace my old job, so I am working BOTH for now) I'd have been happy to be there. They sure waste an awful lot of juror time, though, and I am positive I could implement a better system if I was given the chance.
I plan to hit up Six Flags Magic Mountain this year. Just like when Moses and I thought it was folding in 2006, we need to fit in one. last. special. run. It's going to be great.
