Service Me
I'm officially a "URI Ram" aka a college student at URI.
Orientation was ok. Too much to talk about and too many people keep asking. I'm tired of talking about it.
Let me sum it up:
my roomates were rude assholes.
i got my uri ID and a cool schedule.
i'm applying for jumpstart, which is part community service, part work, part class. It's 2 hrs of classes twice a week Tues. & Thurs, for me. It runs from sept- may, i'll gain 3 credits, $1000 scholarship through americorp, and money through work study if I complete 300 hours. The end.
Father's Day party tonight at the International Institute. My graduation party is next Saturday, so far a lot of people aren't coming. I still need to hand out invitations.
I'm exhausted and I need a REAL vacation.
