Adoption Bans in China
Starting May 1st, China is adding additional restrictions to their foreign adoption policy. If you are overweight, old, ugly (ie. have a facial deformity) or single, you will no longer be able to adopt a Chinese orphan.
I'm just curious...when did physical attractiveness become an indicator of who would make a good parent? I always thought it was love, compassion, discipline and taking an active interest in the well being of a child that made a difference. Who knew?
