HAPPY NEW YEAR: 2010 Resolutions In Review

Jan 04, 2011 11:40

Happy New Year, all! It's still a bit early for some of you Americans, but I know that the New Year is only 'round the corner for you guys.

Before I post my 2011 Resolutions, I am reviewing some of my resolutions from 2010. :D

1. Exercise more.

2. Never fail a subject, ever again. I'm only going to take them ONCE!

3. With that, obtain a high enough GPA that I can qualify for the Study Abroad Programme to get into a US uni for a year.

4. Squash!

5. Grow up.

1. I don't think I quite managed to do that - I think I came back more pudgy than I intended.
2. I DID NOT! I was so worried for Stats (Which I got a Credit for, thank goodness) and Management Accounting (I failed my Midsem paper but managed to scrape a Pass), but came out relatively unscathed, if not happy for the end of studying pure Maths and making sure I will never ever take Management Accounting Level 2.
3. Um... this one is debatable. My average is 1 mark off the requirement for Study Abroad, but they let me submit my application anyway, so fingers crossed!
4. It was successful! I played for Currie Hall and I played for UWA. Though I lost my matches. A lot of them.
5. Don't think that really happened. Haha.

SO YES. All in all, a relatively successful year. The key was to keeping it simple, I think.

How did your New Year's resolutions go? :D
