i saw in the comments that you got the job!! woot! are they paying you the same or more than at your old job? i certainly hope so!!

man, that sucks. i could imagine everyone in your family would be better off in the long run if your brother had some sort of help.

Ehhhhh sort of :P I was making $13.93 at my old job, and this one starts at $14. Not bad, considering I'll have less respopnsibility. :">

My vote is in for a generous lobotomy, but. . . . :P

The hours are pretty sweet, actually. 9-5 M-F, with no Saturdays. B-)

My mom told me tonight that they aren't giving him his meds. :| He takes a certain amount of them for regular pain, and now that he just had his back sliced open and fucked around with, they are giving him nothing but a morphine drip he has to self-administer every ten minutes, so he can't like, sleep or else he'll not be getting pain medication. o_O And this is with insurance. Jesus Christ. >.>

wtf? i guess i can sort of see the advantage of the self-administration thing, but not during the night!

Yeah, because sleep deprivation makes his paranoia SO much better. 8-| It makes you wonder whether they decide this just to play god and amuse themselves.

He had another mini-surgery today to take out that idiot drain that got stuck, so who knows. Originally the plan was three days in the hospital, but that timeframe is nearly up. >.>
