Took me forever to learn how to use my iPod. The wheel-thingy is evil :| To turn it off you have to push the play/pause button for AGES. Why it just doesn't have a little off-button is beyond me.

I think I have already killed it. :| The installer prompted me to remove all discs from the drive, then says there was a fatal error the second I hit eject! PUNK INSTALLER, I WILL BEAT YOU >:o

I killed mine at least twice. It kept refusing to turn on so I had to take it back to the shop.

On iTunes, what do you click to make it scoot songs onto the iPod? It appears to be ignoring me no matter what I do. :-?

I just connect the iPod to the computer via the USB cable (I think that's what it's called) and iTunes magically shoves all the songs in its library on to it.

. . . I finally made a bit of progress and it just sucked every random sound file on my laptop into the Ipod. -.- Even my AOL You've Got Mail thing. Can you delete songs/files? :((

Yes. Just delete them from your iTunes library and when you next update your iPod they will go.

Oh. Uh. Does this mean I will need to keep every song I want to stay permanent on the iPod on my laptop? :/ Because I was looking forward to dumping everything to free up space once I transferred it. . . .

As far as I know, yes, you're going to have to keep all the files on your computer in order to keep them on your iPod.
