Wow....

It is so nice and warm out today. A very nice day, in fact. It's days like today that make me realize how much I long for spring and summer to arrive. Don't get me wrong--I love winter, but sometimes, the dreariness can overtake a person's mental status. It's nice to have days like these to regroup.

At any rate, being that it is such a nice day, I decided to treat myself to chinese (as I do every weekend that I stay on campus). Luckily, I hit the lunch buffet so I only had to pay $6.50. That was fabulous, especially when, if you go later, you have to pay $10.90. So, I saved a few bucks, in which I turned around and bought a new serial killer book, but I'll discuss that later. Anyway, I found a nice empty booth in the back because I hate sitting around people in that restaurant. The only bad thing about my booth location today was that there were a bunch of kids sitting behind me. God, they were being so loud. You know what? I really think there should be rules against children dining in an eating establishment with a buffet. Restaurants with buffets should be for adults only because clearly, adults want to go into a restaurant and eat in peace and quiet. Obviously, we can't do that if there is a herd of screaming children also dining in the same eatery. I'm seriously considering starting a petition for the ban of children in eating establishments with buffets but I fear that it would be unsuccessful. :(

ANYWAY, I had a nice lunch. I ate two plates, which really wasn't much (considering what I normally get from the buffet) but it was a good lunch nonetheless. I had taken my trusty E-Campus canvas backpack thingie stocked with equally trusty Ziplock baggies in hopes of stealing some cheese wontons/crab rangoons for later but again, as it has happened all too often this semester, I was unable to steal any because a bunch of people were around gauking at me. :( So, I am sad. I will probably have to go get an order of cheese wontons tomorrow, DAMN IT, and pay $3.00. UGH.

At any rate, after I vacated the local chinese restaurant, I drove down to Wal-Mart and of course, it was packed. I should have known right from the beginning. But I, being a glutton for punishment, forced myself to go into the store anyway. I returned a shirt I bought a couple of weeks ago that turned out to be too small (WAH!). I don't understand. It was an extra-large. I had gotten a shirt at the exact same place in the exact same brand in the exact same size and that shirt was too big. So, this shirt is too small? Where does that make sense? That is right, it doesn't! Grrr. I was going to replace it, but I'll be a son of a gun because they didn't have any larger sizes when I got over to the shirt section. I was like, "This is shit." :( I really needed a new t-shirt.

I strolled back to the pajama pants section and discovered they had Frito Lay pants with Cheetos and other names of chips on them! That was exciting. I didn't get a pair though.

At any rate, after almost getting mauled by a shopping cart being driven by a CHILD, I made it back to the book section and bought a new book about a serial killer I've never heard of before. I can't wait to start reading it. But I need to finish up my book about Signature Serial Killers first.

So, after I spent nearly 20 minutes in the check-out line, I finally made it out to Wal-Mart and went to Save-A-Lot and got some pickles (YAY!). Pickles rock--I am obsessed. :D

And then, I came back to campus. All in all, it was a decent outing. There were too many children running around, however. Parents should not bring their children out unless absolutely necessary.

It's only 3 o'clock and I feel like I've had a full day. I want to go take a nap, but probably won't. :( I didn't get up until 11 and I never do that! LOL! So, I don't need a nap. I need to study--but as if I really want to do that. So, who knows.

Oh, one last thing, yesterday evening, after I got back from the computer lab, I got stuck in the elevator in my dorm. It was only for a few seconds but it sucked. This happens frequently so I've come to expect it--you would think I'd have developed an aversion to elevators by now, but I haven't. Perhaps my laziness is an aversion to an aversion to elevators, but I am not sure. But seriously, it's just an annoyance--one of those instances where the only think you can think of to say is simply, "Fuck."

Ciao! ;)
