So I beat the NU shuffle today! Well, it was more of a draw, but I'll call it a win. This time wasn't so bad, as I just got bounced from student accounts to the cashiers office back to student accounts, only to discover that my issues were fixed. It could have been worse, but the NU shuffle is still alive in kicking.

In other news, i'm now an attending pharmacy intern (i self-promoted myself) in the MGH outpatient pharmacy. Instead of throwing drugs at nurses, this time I throw drugs at actual patients. Between diabetes stuff, valtrex, people who want percocets, and lots and lots of birth control, it's kinda fun. Well, at least until they train me in answering the window, where I'm bound to get in numerous yelling matches with people. I'm decent at remembering where certain pills are, so I'm going faster and actually doing good. However, as of now, I'm basically a glorified pill counter, a machine could do my job. In fact, we have a machine that DOES my job. But machines aren't as good looking and charming and pleasantly awkward as I am.

I'm glad to be back at MGH, because I get to hang out with my smoking buddies; one of the pharmacists I work with smokes with me all the time. Then there's the black lady who always reads, my thug life jamaican/puerto rican multiracial smoking team, one of the ER nurses, dave the gay thoracic surg secretary, and many others. I'd add that I would say that I like smoking with young single ladies who may/may not have children in the hospital, but that brings me to my next point...somehow I got tricked into a relationship! By tricked, I mean I somehow picked up feelings for a lovely lady. Who does that? But more on that later. I need sleep.
