Supernatural Scores Season-high Ratings!

From tvguide.com:
The chances of Supernatural seeing a fourth season just got a little brighter. Last night's zombie-themed episode scared up some serious ratings, with the show matching its best performance of the season in adults 18-34 and women 18-34, and scored a season high with men 18-34. It also attracted its largest audience of the season (3.22 million). And get this: It did so on a night when Smallville wasn't even on. A Supernatural rerun aired at 8 pm. Crazy, right? - Michael Ausiello

No, Mike, not crazy.

Add that to this excerpt from a recent Kripke interview:
You won't know for sure until May about a fourth season, right? Yes, I'm fairly confident there will be one. I'm never 100 percent confident. We are a bubble show. We've never gotten the kind of ratings that would knock us out of the park and guarantee our return. At the end of every year, we've had to fight for our return a little bit. But this year, I think we've been doing solid in an impossible time slot. Plus, I think the network is really interested in the show for business reasons. We're nearing the kind of (episode) numbers you need for syndication, which we would hit next year. And we do well internationally for them, so there's a good chance for those reasons we'd be back.

Hello, season 4!
