Doctor Who 301 Smith and Jones...
Well a new season a new episode and a new look, but it's got pretty much the same manic feel that David Tennant brings to the Doctor! It's a good first episode, I definately enjoyed Martha's presence, she's no Rose but it's pretty clear that she's going to be her own companion and not a shadow of Rose. And the new blue suit makes an appearance. It's not as bad as the photos to be honest, I still prefer the brown stripy one but I think I can get use to the blue suit.
I must say though these things bugged me:
1) When Martha Jones goes to listen to the Doctor's heart she put the stethescope earbuds in the wrong way!!! It should go with the points facing forward not backwards! It's a wonder how she passed pre-clin years let alone heard the heart sounds!
2) Causes of dizzyness... come on the most common cause is Fe deficency espcailly in eldery ladies! Now... early onset diabetes - more like hypoglycemic reaction!??? a CT and miniere's disease - look for horses not zebras, espcially in a general med ward not an ENT ward! Although bloods are a good idea!
3) Morganstein was actually quite brave in my opinion... where's the doctor's commendation for what he was trying to do!
4) Anatomy and Radiology at it's worse! Now where's the soft tissue and the lungs and what was really annoying was "where's the TWO HEARTS???"
Hahah thank god there's not going to be too much Medical stuff happening cause I'd pick it to bits too much! Although you'd think they'd hire a medical constultant.. Time to get House in!
Next week's looks intriguing, thank god the Doctor is back!
