African Trip - Nairobi
I'm back in Nairobi after my first week of Safari. I have been extremely lucky and seen all the big 5, including a leopard and 3 different lion prides. *does the happy dance*
All these small things have happened on the trip which have turned out to make it better than usual. Our large (very old - as in built for use as a Kenyan Army truck in the 70's/early 80's) truck broke down on the second day so we ended up stacking everything (tents and cooking gear included) into a van and a 4-wheel drive, which meant we had saw amazing animals in the Masi Mari rather than bumping along in a huge truck. Due to the vehicle change we also got to spend 3 nights in the Mara rather than 2.
Heading off to Tanzania today :)
