My house is under attack. Every night, under the cover of darkness, (when I am stupid enough to leave the cat door open) something crawls through my laundry, steals my cats food, pisses on something and then disappears into the dark...

Hey! not so misplaced!. The beast appears strangely reluctant to step back into my laundry. Which is good and bad (as I really wanted to find out what it was).

Oh It won't be that interesting as I'm from Perth, WA. So its likely to just be a cat or ginormous rat. Not something really interesting like a raccoon or a monkey or hedgehog.

Yeah, I was thinking 'racoon!' but if it's Australia, I'm guessing feral cat. Maybe some sort of small bunyip.
