Recent DVD Purchases

Figured I'd post some recent one's occams_scissors and I have picked up over the last month.

While OS was away at her all geekend scrapbooking event I picked up "Swordfish" and "Kiss the Girls" for $6 a piece at Best Buy.

Last Geekend I had a coupon for half off selected titles at Borders and while OS was out running errands in the area she picked up "The Last Samurai" and "Bridget Jones Diary" for $10 a piece.

We stopped by Best Buy last night after work and picked up "Hero" (AWESOME MOVIE) and the box set of all three Harry Potter movies (we had the first two, but one was a previously viewed copy we bought at Blockbuster ages ago... going to give the old ones to my folks since they don't have them), they didn't have the box set of both Spiderman movies in stock so that was a bit disappointing. We scored bigtime at the $6 DVD racks they had set up across the front of the store. Got "When Trumpets Fade" (Very good WWII movie made by HBO), "Hooper" (Classic Burt Reynolds movie about stuntmen), "Freejack" (kind of cheezy cyber-punk style flick, but fun to watch), "Home Fries", "Strange Days" (great movie, loved it... although a bit dated now), "Frankenstein" (the Kenneth Branagh/Robert De Niro one), and "Johnny Mnemonic" (Kinda cheezy cyber-punk movie starring Pre-Matrix Keanu Reeves. Oh and Henry Rollins is in it... that alone warrents buying it).
