Update finally!
Right! Well I'm back from Ireland. I loved it there and despite various events had a great time and met some lovely people. I may also have myself a published paper out of it which would be pretty cool but depends on whether or not the Senior House Officer pulls her finger out and finishes it on time.
Since being back time has been torn between missing Cork, being stressed over said previously mentioned paper and my current research paper, feeling fat (for no real reason as I've actually lost weight), the occasional random fit of tears for and spending far too much money on going out and clothes!
Had a very good week last week and a few good nights the week before where lots of fun was had involving pole dancing in Dempseys, sleeping in bear pits in parks with mugs of tea and a bottle of the cheapest bottle of screw cap rose Spar had, drunken (and forgotten) shoplifting in spar, playing sardines in an almost empty Corporation (we owned that club darling), a day of 6 or 7 busses without actually getting anywhere and more Dempseys and more Corporation (but no sardines). Oh it was fun but it's back to work now, well apart from a possible pub trip later and Poodle Parlour tomorrow.
I'm off to London on Sunday to one of my favourite people ever and he's promised to look after me for a few days. While I'm there I shall also be seeing some people I met in Cork, the lovely Pa and Cillian. Been getting drunken texts from Pa recently, not really sure what's going on there but we'll see.
