SO HOT DAMMIT + PS3 game review
SO HOT, SOHOTSOHOTSOHOTSOHOT
I'm sweating madly in my own room. And I DONT OWN A FAN OR AN AIRCONDITIONER. My siblings hijac them and place them in their rooms. UGHHHHHHHHH ISN'T IT SPRING ALREADY???!!
I need to sleep, I have a meeting tomorrow early in the morning and I don't wanna be late since now the uni is technically paying me to produce a scientific paper. Also I'm half working on my cosplay and my commissions. I've been drawing naked chics lately, many of my commissioners love to see their OCs drawn in my style NAKED. I'm starting to think I'm sending off the wrong message here. I could very well be on my way to be an ero-manga/game artist, lol.
FF13 came as a register parcel yesterday and god was I excited. I walked 3 streets up under the blazing sun (even though I had a valid tram ticket) because I just can't be bothered walking down to Swanston then to Bourke and then walk back up towards Exhibition St. I just ran all the way on Exhibition at 4:45pm because the post office closes at 5pm. Boy was I happy I made it on time!

I started playing. The cut- scenes are awesome but damn annoying at times because I swear it's like 3 hours of cutscene and 1 hour of gameplay?? I really want to fight some shitz yo. The graphics are awesome, the music too of course. But I can't help comparing the battle system to FF12. FF13 is similar to FF10 but FF12 was probably the only FF game that I bothered playing 3 times so I can get the zodiac spear and complete all the quests (not including the 50 million HP boss that comes with the fishing quest). I know there's a lot of negative review on FF13 out there but so far it's getting annoying when I can only control what the main character can do and not the rest of them. And I needed to do the paradigm shift so frequently that my thumbs all blistered lol. And half the time I have no idea what they are talking about. Worse of all because final fantasy never bothered setting up the option of switching the voice to japanese with english subs, VAnille voice is killing me. I can't stand freaking high pitch voice. I imagine her character to be somewhat cheerful but NOT that cutesy airhead dumb blonde type. Okay, I'm being too negative here.
All in all, I STILL LOVE THE GAME. And I was lucky enough to buy it for $55?? on ebay. XD
I look forward for 30 hours of level grinding and getting use to the battle system. The graphics seriously put Star Ocean 4 to shame, lol. Which is another game I'm playing at the moment. I love shun-po-ing around the map to explore but lol I need a healer in the party fast. I'm running out of berries. AND THE GAME CAME WITH JAP VOICE + ENG SUB. EVEN BETTER!
Next is Valkyria Chronicles. Probably the most interesting PS3 game I own so far. Because of the anime I bought the game and the battle system is just plain awesome. It took me 2 days to figure out how to beat Lelouc- I mean MAXIMILLIAN. XD
I placed an order on Resonance of Fate as well this time, and will be cosplaying Leanbelle alongside with my friends hopefully this year back in Malaysia. It's special because the battle system is similar to Valkyria Profile and the graphics and story just pulled me in.
I finally finish all the left 4 dead 2 campaign, LAN partying with friends and LOL THANK GOD NONE OF US BOUGHT/DOWNLOADED THE AUS VERSION OF IT. IT'S SO BAD IT MADE ME LAUGH. Zombie poofing away in smoke WITH NO GORE. PLEASE! I was the only girl in the group and damn we sure pawn some zombie asses. We kept killing and the zombie keep spawning and tanks kept coming at us. And in the end we decided to AXE CHOP and KATANA SLICE the tanks because we ran out of bullets. Awesome awesome game, Really sad too little campaigns.
