Logan returned from Wonka's Candy Shop just as the Christmas tree was delivered. Logan directed them to set it up in the living room.

He flopped down on the couch and turned on the TV to watch Scrooged while waiting for the decorations to be delivered.

"Hello?" Rory called, sticking her head in the front door. "I'm not late, am I? I had to go get some stuff so I could do my interview later."

Since others were checking on Parker, Logan went to meet Rory at the door.

He didn't notice that his feet didn't actually touch the floor.

"Logan," Rory gasped. "You're, um. You're floating."

Logan looked down. He was, indeed, floating about six inches off the floor. "Huh," he said. He stomped his foot experimentally, but it entirely failed to reach the ground.

Rory grabbed his hands and attempted to pull him down, laughing. "Why? Do you know?"

"Echolls! Something weird is going on in here!" Parker yelled from inside the house.

"Jingle bells, Jingle bells, jingle all the way," Barbossa sang, sounding annoyed. But on key. Good for him.

"Can you be quiet, if you can't help?"

Barbossa shut his mouth, then walked over to another bowl and stuck a candy cane into his mouth.

Logan floated back into the living room, dragging Rory with him. "This is new and exciting," he grinned. "Although," he said, remembering the phone call, "there's no decorators coming. They just cancelled. Some problem getting here from the mainland."

"Well. We could decorate it ourselves," Rory suggested, staring from Logan to Parker to Barbossa. "I...guess."

Parker has her hands on her hips, but her mouth is twitching. "I'm *floating*. I mean, I've heard about being high on life, but this is ridiculous." She shakes her head when she sees Logan. "You too?"

"I'm generally high on other substances than life," Logan said. "But not today."

Rory rolled her eyes. "Why are you floating?"

She waved to the others. "Anything wrong with you guys?"

Elizabeth waved back at Rory. "I'm fine," she said. She looked around the room. "Apparently you and me are the only ones though!"
