Ancient Greece, Thursday Night

The camp was a scene of great consternation this evening, as Callisto gathered the men on the training ground.

"Forgive me if I'm mistaken," she addressed the crowd. "But I was under the impression that decapitation was supposed to actually kill the decapitatee."

There was a nervous rumbling, then one brave soul suggested "I've seen it happen with chickens sometimes, they run around for a few minutes."

"Does he look like poultry?" Callisto asked, rolling her eyes. "He's been doing that a bit longer than a few minutes."

Another rumbling, this time of agreement with regards to a lack of chickenhood.

"Last week we couldn't keep a fire going and people were dying of paper-cuts, and now we have this happening." Callisto gestured at the headless corpse, which was now walking into walls as it tried to get back to its head. "I've seen some strange things, but there is something seriously wrong going on here."
