Room 125, Thursday Night

Just like she had the last two night's after Angel's call, Callisto stood side-on in front of the mirror, looking for some kind of differences. It didn't seem right she couldn't see any. Wasn't she supposed to be glowing or something? She'd always heard about a glow.

Running a hand that was in no way whatsoever trembling down the curve of her belly, she frowned. It didn't feel different either. Not that she actually had any idea what she was supposed to look for. Well, swelling, obviously, but what kind? Softer? Harder? Puffy? Firm?

After looking around the empty room, just in case a shrub had suddenly appeared, Callisto risked a very slight, very wobbly smile. "Poor thing," she addressed her belly. "Considering who your parents are, you're already frelled."
