Gradually waking up from the strangest dream where she'd been wee, married Angel and made plans to send Cam-Mollusc to university, Callisto wondered why her bed felt so cramped and why she was stiff like she'd been sleeping on the ground. Eyes still closed, she reached for the alarm only to encounter something soft and cushiony ( Read more... )

"Ohhh, god. I have to open the Library today." Parker reluctantly sat up, and looked around, thankful that the worst thing she did in front of anyone here was play tag with Angel and Alanna. And, of course, talk about sex.

"She explained the fun aspect when my sister was old enough for the village boys to start getting interested, she didn't believe in ignorance being protection."

"Ahh." Parker's mom explained all the basics to her when she was eight, and had been explaining adolescence a couple weeks before she died. "I had to read about the fun parts in a book. Much more confusing that way." She stood up and stretched, then looked down at herself. "I can't believe how matter-of-fact we all were about being little kids. Clothes shrinking to fit, playgrounds there to play on, and having dinner out of the vending machine all seemed completely normal."

Parker looked over at the fort, and grinned. "Uh-hunh. I'll leave you to that, I think. I want a shower to get off the ick I missed during my one bath this weekend. Congratulations on your wedding. Next time I better get to be a witness."

Callisto facepalmed. "I'll sent a special invitation, just for you."

Parker chortled and headed for the door. "Yayyy." For a second she sounds four again. "See you later."

"Hey, Alanna." Parker rubbed her face and shook her head. "God, I think this tops zombie weekend for sheer weirdness.

"Sure. Thanks." She snickered. "I don't think marshmellows for breakfast are a good idea."
