I do some of the stupidest things......
Don't ask me how I managed to do it, but I fractured my left foot. I was entertaining my daughter's Daisy troop while her incompotent leader tried to get organized Tuesday afternoon before the meeting. We were playing Simon says, jumping around, etc. I was going to get a snack for the troop, walked out to my car, and another mom called me and told me she already has it, to come back. So I got back out of the truck (Mommy's Explorer!!!), and couldn't walk, I was in PAIN! So I went to the emergency room 2 nights ago, and just went to the orthopedic (sp?) doctor. Yeah, it's fractured right at a spot that doesn't heal that well. NICE!! So I am off for 2 weeks while my foot heals. If it don't heal right, I have to have surgery. In other news, I did something I told myself I wouldn't do, and actually got a call. Emeril is doing a chicken episode, and he is asking for people to send in their recipes. Well, I do a Greek Stuffed Chicken Breast that I've gotten rave reviews on. (10 opinions can't be wrong, right???) I sent it in and got a preliminary OK, but the contest isn't closed yet. Emeril is more for show and all, and I kicked myself in the ass for sending it in in the first place, but Sherrie told me about it and told me I should send it in. Yeah, so I did.........Now I am trying to load the IPOD that Rob bought me for Christmas. I went through and put all my Psychopathic artists in a folder and it only came to equal 2 and a half hours, and I have 8 hours to fill!!! So all my cheesy 80's songs, 70 disco songs, my old punk days (Dead Milkmen, GBH, Sex Pistols, etc) and one hit wonders will all be on there too!! I should look into LimeWire while I am at it. Yet, there are still MANY more that I have to put on there - Motley Crue, Mozart, Enya, Metallica, Moody Blues, Garth, Confederate Railroad; 1st one (whole album on there, baby!!!)..........Let me get busy with this, I still have some baking of pies to do.......
